It’s possible, I have done it but I’m in Folkestone

I broke my fob
No you will need the transponder inside the case to start he car.

Kodiaq
DSG and Haldex are not done under normal services, they are an extra. IF you dealer says either doesn’t need doing then find a good independent VAG garage to do it.
-
Kodiaq
Every 40k miles worth doing the Haldex at the same time (oil change and filter clean)

Wheel spacer opinions?
It's a declarable modification. It will put extra stress on the wheel bearings.

Engine off, but trip info remains
The maxi dot stays powered up for around 30 seconds after the car is locked. It then powers back up once unlocked.

The 'new' green numberplates.
Correct only the middle ones are legal, the other two were under consideration. You can still have the GB etc in the green band.

EV Insurance cost, servicing, how to spot a dud etc.
The ID.3 is 7 seconds 0-60, so hardly what you would call slow, yes is limited to (IIRC) 100 mph, but who really drives quicker in the UK? I also got a quote for a Polestar 2 (0-60 in 4.5 seconds was still £250 ish.

40 kWh Leaf and now ID.3 Tour. No dearer than a 170CR 4x4 Yeti L&K (£247)

Eibach or H&R Lowering Springs 2.0D 190bhp Hatch
Eibach every time for me. Only had them combined with a B12 kit though, it transformed both cars.

Variables
Some brands are far better than others for getting close to their claimed range. heated seats use less power than heating the whole car. A/C has next to no effect. Speed is the biggest killer of range, if you can stay below 60mph they you may even beat the claimed range. The weather is the next, rain and the cold are really bad, warm weather is good. Our Nissan Leaf had a claimed range of just over 160 miles IIRC, in summer we could get close, but in winter 100 miles was more realistic, BUT that is driving at NSL and as warm as we wanted to be comfortable (21° for me and 23+° for my wife.)

Rear windscreen wiper switch
In the 5 ½ years I owned my MK3 not once did I think ‘I wish it had a rear wiper’ but mine was ceramic coated (windows also treated).

Rear windscreen wiper switch
If was a free option.

Usually you push the stalk away from you.

Battery maintainer/charger/support unit/LiON jump starter when coding with VCDS
The first thing I code is the option to turn the DRL's on and off in the infotainment so you can minimise the power draw whilst coding. Personally I have never hooked a car up whilst charging as the car will tell you when the power has dropped to a critical level (I then run the engine). That said I have since bought a smart CTEK battery charger, which I am very impressed with. My mom has a car that hasn't been driven for 7 years, a couple of chargers failed to charge the 'new' (unused) but 7 year old battery, my CTEK bought it back to life.

Superb MKIII owners register
Ideal time to retrofit a flat bottom or heated wheel with flappy paddles then.

Bilstein B6
Let’s hope they are in stock! Had a B13 kit on order for about 8 weeks now and it will be an estimated 5 more weeks before they are made.

Color Selection
Now the quartz grey I would agree with you there may well be a hint of blue with that one.
-
Color Selection
Never noticed a blue tint TBH.

Color Selection
If you click on my username the Superb in the photo is Business Grey. This was after it had been detailed and ceramic coated though so they don’t all look this good... but it gives you an idea what is achievable.
