  1. 100% Business gray. Silver is the best colour for hiding marks, followed by light grey (business grey). Darker colours are the worst for hiding marks.
  2. Yes VCDS can do the coding. Depending on what controller you have fitted that may need updating as well.
  3. Nothing strange about it at all, TPMS has been a legal requirement on new cars since November 2014.
  4. I had 3 punctures on my L&K and it warned me of all 3. Yes it's a pretty crude system... but it works.
  5. It doesn't tell you what the pressures are but it does tell you when one tyre starts to lose pressure... that wheel will rotate faster than the other 3 indicating that the pressure is lower.
  6. You do have TPMS but it's an indirect system that uses the ABS sensors and not a dedicated TPMS valve. The car will not support aftermarket TPMS, you would need a separate screen etc.
  7. The part No. is wrong it's a zero (I have edited your post)
  8. Not unless you change those as well. Take a look, it is self explanatory in what it changes.
  9. Because that’s what the car has been set to show, you can change it in the infotainment
  10. TBH I was sold on the car after the test drive, really well built and pretty nippy (understatement of the year!). If they can get one to do 250 miles then I would be happy. Ultimately now SWMBO has taken delivery of her ID.3 Tour the BM will be more than adequate for my needs.
  11. We were all set to pull the trigger, then the real range figures came out, to say I was disappointed (sub 200 miles from a claimed almost 290) would be an understatement.
  12. @BriskodaJeff I have bought a 'work shed' (toy!) as I'm only doing 50 miles a week and leaving it in a very dusty lorry park I'm sure I will be back in a fully electric Superb (maybe) at some point.
  13. Sold it Owned a Superb in one guise or another for the last 14 years
  14. Not normally no, as you have no need for them.
  15. Depends on what engine you have (therefore the size of the brakes) The 2.0 petrol engines need a minimum of 17" wheels to clear the brakes, whereas the 2.0 TDi can run 16". A 205/50/18" would be closer circumferance than the 205/55/16" to your current 235/45/18", however I thought all the 18" spare wheels were the really skinny 125/70/18"???
  16. Yes, when you order a spare wheel it would come with a 205/55/16" spare wheel. The PCD etc will be identical.
  17. Colin they actually help to keep the car cooler as well.
  18. They were always an option in 2015 at least, even on the L&K
  19. Code it properly or leave well alone. This proved why the one click approach is a bad idea!
  20. Was that c/w the airbag? Apparently the heated wheel air bag is different?
  21. No, you only have to re-coat any panels that have been painted
  22. It’s all relevant to the price you pay. Gtechniq is supposedly good for 9 years , but it comes at a price. Find out what they will be using, if it’s done on a driveway and the price etc.
  23. Not all ceramic coatings are equal, some will barely last a year. I had Gtechniq Crystal Serum applied to my Superb over 5 years ago and haven’t added anything on top in that time and it’s still beading water nicely.
  24. The 'black slotty thing' is the infotainment system, rip it out and you will be proper old school... with no radio at all. As for retro-fitting a multi changer, nothing is impossible but there will be no hardware or wiring etc to make the job easy.
  25. Providing there is no paint or lacquer damage then yes. Take a hard look for stone chips.
