      I know a rapid owner who has 3 sets of mats in his car to protect the carpet. factory, rubber and plush. I don't know which order they are layered in.

    One phone call and a bit of a whinge results in a 50 quid reduction in the car insurance premium..isn't it a bit bloomin stupid that we have to do this dance every year...?

      Made the same phone call to my insurance company and got the same result. Was told "It gives the Company the opportunity to review individual circumstances". Yeah... sure...

      Never have to do it with my insurance broker (though I ring others for comparison), they give their best quote first time and generally beat others :)

    The local Garden Centre seems to have seemlessly moved from "Its Summer BBQ time" to "Its Christmas Time" overnight.

    Our Daughter has made some soup with leftover pumpkin and other unidentifiable ingrediants. It smells like a mixture of sweaty cheese & smelly feet...Yum ! Hurt feelings will no doubt follow....

    US TV shows that are back with a new series after nearly a year away really do need a "Previously...." intro..; anyone who has any clue what is happening on either "Falling Skies" or "The Last Ship" has a slightly better memory than me....!

    Just had a pleasant dealer experience. A minor warranty job, friendly helpful staff, clean waiting area, free coffee & the car washed too. Why is this such a surprise though....?

    Spotted 2 Shelby Mustangs in the last couple of days, a black coupe and a white drop top. Is there a deal on them at the moment...! It is a certain type of bloke who drives these in the UK !

    A local Vauxhall dealer has a used 14 reg Adam Slam (whatever that is ?) with 8000 miles for.......?13995. It makes some used Skodas still pretty good value don't you think ?

    The new Seat Leon looks pretty dull in the flesh compared to the glitzy mag pics methinks.....or it could have been the odd greeny blue colour I suppose !
