Had mine done this morning by Autotecnic in Sheffield. Very professional outfit and they did a great job. I've booked in next week for the DSG ! The Haldex ! Wow it needed doing ! One change previously by the dealer who would not clean the strainer. Pictures speak for themselves ...

Took my dealer a couple of goes as detailed in this thread but its not happened again. I think you need to try another dealer.

That was another reason I didn't go for the L&K knowing I would probably be keeping the car for a while I thought the power tailgate was scary enough especially when I found out Skoda were charging about a grand to replace both !! Both mine failed close together last year hopefully these will last another 6 years ...

Washed the car this weekend and noticed something hanging down underneath. About a 10 inch strip of underseal had come away from the vertical lip on the front offside jacking point. I Couldnt get in a position to have a good look but I can imagine its bare metal underneath which will be open to the elements.... When it warms up a bit i'll see if I can get under the car to check it out. What are people using to re underseal these days ? In days gone past when I actually did stuff to my cars I used a black spray on Wayoyl ?

Hi guys I have a Haldex and DSG oil change due shortly has anyone had any luck asking the delaer to clean the pump strainer ? I've mailed them asking for a price and if they could clean the strainer they gave me the price but didnt answer the strainer question !

Sorry I probably wasn't very clear ! I have no intention of selling the 11K was the valuation they gave for my insurance renewal. I have a nice full Skoda warranty

According to Compare The Market it's £11k cant find any equivalent cars online but a few 2016 L&K's with around roughly the same miles ( around 38k ) for £24k + I put down £20k for better or worse ...

My Superb is now filty and i'm having problems generating the enthusiasm to go out in the cold and clean it given that I usually spend about 6 hours on the job ! I dont suppose anyone has a reccomendation for valeting in the Sheffield area ? Someone I could trust not to drop the cleaning mit into gravel then pick it up and carry on !
