  1. I can't comment for certain on why your headlights are on all the time in Auto, but as far as driving on sidelights, not DRL is concerned, the car doesn't allow it. If you set the light switch to Off or Sidelights then shortly after driving off it will jump to Auto. Your light switch isn't rotary, you press on it to cycle through the options. Is there a possibility you have set it to Headlights in error ?
  2. Looking at the CZ website, there is a custom pallette for Octavia but not Superb. Perhaps best ask your dealer about special order ?
  3. Thanks folks. Penpusher, that is a great find.
  4. Hi folks, does anyone know what, if anything, is different between MY 2024 and MY 2025 ? I was looking at Superbs listed on Skoda UK Web Site, some show as 2024, some as 2025. i've not seen any kind of press release detailing differences, I note that there may not be any, just cars built after xx.xx.2024 are called MY 2025. Many Thanks.
  5. Yet Mazda brought the CX60 to market with two very big flaws. Suspension and Gearbox problems, GB worse on the plug in hybrid.
  6. I was under the impression that relatively recent VW Group cars had a setting you could use to have Scandinavian DRL, but I am not sure about the very latest ones. If they are sold in Sweden............
  7. To clarify, I meant the 2.0 TSI was there, wasn't referring to Webasto. No-one else has been able or willing to say when orders open for 2.0 TSI in any market.
  8. Just had a look at the Finnish Website. It sure is there. Saw a YouTube review the other day from either Czechia or Slovakia and he showed documentation which said December 2024.
  9. Matrix headlights standard on VRS, but not even an option now on SE L or Sportline ? ?
  10. All I can say here is I had the same thing happen, very intermittently, on a 2014 Ford Focus.
  11. In addition, you can disable Keyless for each locking cycle. Lock with fob, then within, I think, 5 seconds, press the lock pad on the door. Will reset to normal next time it's unlocked. Octavia 4 allows you to go into Vehicle Settings and permanently disable Keyless, though I don't think any others have it.
  12. I've just seen the UK Brochure for the Facelift Model, disappointed to see the restricted choice. Green and brown deleted.
  13. Sorry, I don't know.
  14. Ireland lets you have the Alcantara option with electric adjustment, or electric without Alcantara.
  15. Very nice. I take it that car is in for appraisal rather than being a permanent addition to Police Scotland fleet ?
  16. Thanks Newbie. Interesting. Watching this video, which I think most of you have seen, around the 7 minutes mark, made me think it was being reactive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B_V5cZVIiE
  17. So, is this a confirmation that the set up is still reactive rather predictive ?
  18. If you don't like Kessy, you can disable it each locking cycle or you can permanently disable it.
  19. Not only is it not available on the UK Spec VRS, it's not available on the new DSG version of the 1.5 TSI. Why ? ? It's available on the manual, it's available on the Diesel DSG.
  20. VRS Diesel now on UK Configurator and new Price List. 03.12.2020
  21. Nice, but remains to be seen if the UK will get it. Mind you, I can't believe the new Golf Alltrack is coming here, when the last one sold so poorly and the Passat Alltrack was dropped due to poor sales.
  22. +1 on keep the air con on. Really does mean the difference between steaming up and not.
  23. I think your comment about options, and for that matter, colour choice applies to the whole Octavia range, and quite honestly, the whole Skoda range. I've always wondered if any of these non UK items could be had as a special order.
