  1. Hi G, don't really know to be honest. I did go on the makers site but don't know if it's a general picture. Maybe if you go on it and see what you think.
  2. "ARMSTER" Armrest, previously fitted in a Roomster. Leather type flip top, leather type removable case. Easy fit. Comfortable. £20 + PP. Or collect Coventry area. Speaker holding it up not included 🙂
  3. Ye if it was the sun, the middle bit would be dark aswell. What about a nodding dog placed over it 🙂.
  4. Just cut a hole in a tennis ball.
  5. I'll have a look in the garage tomorrow.
  6. Hi, what about the old wire hanger. I have two that I've had for years, it's amazing what can be done with them. There is just a small hook on the end, can something like this be put down the space to see if if it can be hooked up ?
  7. Bin a while since I fitted mine, but might be normal flash, and dynamic flash. Just link up to a battery and try the switch.
  8. Once you have got the mirror out you will see how the cover is fitted. I think it's 3 or 4 push fit clips.
  9. Yes it does feel a if your going to damage the mirror pulling it off. You need to get as much finger, and fingers as you can down the back of the mirror to even out the pressure, it's more of a jerk than a pull, scared me every time I did it.
  10. In the for sale site, someone is selling some helper springs. Don't know if they would help.
  11. Hi B. Maybe tell people where your X car is, if someone might be looking for one of this model Octavia.
  12. I've not read everything in detail, this is just my take on things. Are you going to use the car as a 4WD, in other words, going off road? If you are then it's a no brainer to me, you need a full size spare. I'll leave it there for the moment, and see what replies come in.
  13. I wouldn't worry about taking tape measure, your the one buying the car. I did with my previous car, as I needed to get certain size boxes to all fit in without putting seats down.
  14. As in nearly all the posts about keys, I say, try the 2032 battery I've been fitting them for a number of years.
  15. Hi, do you have another key ? If so, have you tried it ?
  16. No matter what, you've got to have a flashing light. Some drivers use a 2032 battery, I do.
  17. Hi , have you got full picture, looks a bit like factory fit, but difficult to tell from that picture.
  18. A good set of HIDs are brilliant in projector headlights. I put them in some years ago, and they are still going strong. I emphasise, good set.
  19. I had low battery come up a couple of days ago. I learnt early on, that if you replace battery straight away, it clears itself. If you leave it, you then have to rebind key.
  20. That's fair enough. I didn't realise I didn't have separate side lights until about two months ago, I've had the car three years. 😆
  21. I know it sounds odd, but do you have separate side lights ? My side lights are my DRLs.
  22. Try putting it in the search. There was a post that gave all the information needed, it helped alot of people.
  23. I used crocodile clips some years ago, the size that are on a battery charger. I cut one side down, got to make sure you get the holder not the wires. I did move the filter one side.
  24. Looks like you need a thinner spacer on the rear. Are you talking about inner or outer guard ?
