  1. I've just had some TRW pads fitted and finding them excellent. Also, if you go back on previous post's and find "Brake Disc Size" this will help. There's also a guy in, I think Italy, who can give you all the build numbers for you car for €3. I carnt find the post with it in at the moment, maybe someone else can.
  2. So are you saying you've sorted it ?
  3. Is it possible to post pictures?
  4. From what I remember on a "Roomster "the rubber boot just fits in like a grommet, not glued.
  5. Sorry I answered my own question.
  6. Just out of curiosity have you been through any heavy rain or floods recently?
  7. There's a substantial amount of water got in by the look of it. Realistically the only place water could get in is where I mentioned before, the rest I would think is sealed. From the pictures it doesn't look like the water has run down from the top. You may have to take the light out to check it.
  8. I would say definitely water, condensation looks different to that . Are all the rubber covers at the back of the light on properly?
  9. It's probably specific, otherwise someone could go round nicking them.
  10. Yes, let's hope its not locked. There is a plastic cover that fits in the hole left by removing the towball, it stops water getting in there. Maybe ask if they have one. With mine, if the towball is fitted you carnt use eco mode.
  11. Hi James, yes it is a removable hitch, if it's locked it will need a key, if it isn't you press the button that's sticking out and at the same time you press the lever on the right side, just be aware it will drop down, be ready for that there quite heavy.
  12. Anyway, dropped the Octy off for some work on the brakes, mechanic says, is the locking wheel nut adapter in the boot, yes I said, we go in the boot to make sure, it's not in its usual place, we take everything out of the spare wheel well, check under all the tools, not there, we check in the two little storage compartments each side (estate), not there, must be in the glove compartment, not there, centre console, not there, little compartment by the steering wheel, not there, what am I going to do, little bit of sweat breaking out on my forehead, just driven hour and a half. AND THEN IT CAME TO ME, I DONT HAVE LOCKNUTS ON THIS CAR. Good job the mechanic saw the funny side, he did a brilliant job.
  13. Hi L, just one quick question, which you only have to give a simple answer. Was it your choice, or dictated by someone or something?
  14. Just on a small point, my Scout won't let you tow in ECO, as soon as you put the towball in it switches to normal drive so you carnt coast.
  15. I agree with Pete, but then I would, he always seems to know what he's talking about 👍.
  16. This is what I found, if I change battery as soon as the sign comes on the dash no problem, if I wait, I have to pair it with the car. Got to be 100% red light coming on, on key. I've also used the 2032s with no problem getting them in.
  17. Ye, if red light not illuminated I won't tie in with the car. I had that, it was very frustrating until I realised the red light wasn't on, then all worked. Yes need good battery.
  18. OK, if it feels like the handle is doing something, I carnt help, it never happened on mine, sorry.
  19. It's been along time since I worked on a Roomster. Does the door handle on the outside feel loose, like it's not doing anything ?
  20. Not sure what Colin might be able to give you. Send him a message.
  21. Each to his own, there's no wrong or right way, both look good.
  22. The person is down as a Freedom member.
  23. Hi Q, it's on the persons profile.
  24. Looks good H. I did the same thing when I fitted some Audi TT wheels to my Roomster. I also put a light spray of varnish on to stop water ingress.
