  1. Just got her home. I was initially worried it might not be different enough from the old one but more than happy. Moon whites a great colour. Really sharp, lots if little differences , subtle but add up overall. Bigger stereo screen, ambient lighting lifts the cabin, illuminated door lights. To top it all folding dimming mirrors. Not in the brochure, didn't spec as an option but they are on it. Looking forward to testing the lights tonight. Ask away if you have any questions.
  2. Likewise, but at £40 a door its staying like that for now.
  3. Noticed on my new scout there is a little lip on the rear bumper / arch. Definitely not on my old one. I'll photo it when I pick it up
  4. Seats are slightly different, silver stitching and scout logo is now stitched in and not embossed. Gear knob has 4X4 on it, not scout. New screen is impressively big. Heated seats and steering wheel and ambient door lighting. I'll get some photos up when I've had a play with it.
  5. The door trims were deleted a while ago, not just facelift. That's my car, due to collect on Saturday.
  6. I'm pricing up the rub strips tomorrow. It looks a bit bare
  7. Talk about coincidences, literally just missed this coming of the transporter.
  8. They will be LED, they have stopped by xenon now. No need for extra bulbs with the xenon as they sense that are on the continent and self adjust. I would imagine the LED set do similar
  9. Just ask them, it takes them a moment to find out. It's no inconvenience to them.
  10. About 12 months ago Skoda changed the size of front discs on the diesel vrs by 28mm or something similar. It was unannounced, one of those the brochure is correct at the time.of printing things. A few people got properly upset. It went daft and I left the forum for 6 months as it wound me up so much!
  11. Dont start the great brake disc size debate again, I cant cope!
  12. Currently got a standard race blue Scout 150. Having exactly the same again but in moon white with factory towbar and spare. Nothing broken so not fixing! Had a play with the new Amundsen today. Very nice, very clear and very big!
  13. My car is now at the port and due on the boat Tuesday. Current lease due back 19 July but can go after 19 June without penalty. To help the dealer who has been great looking at collecting the new one on 30 June. Starting to not want the old one to go, it's been a fantastic car.
  14. Some allocate and some don't, I've been offered a choice on one car and others have been prescribed. Next ones got a cherished transfer going on.
  15. What more realistically can he tell you? I'm always surprised they will commit to a week given the complexity of everything. My dealer has told me mine is for build this week then to allow 4 weeks to arrive and be registered. As long as its before I'm due to return this one I don't mind. Even if things slip there's no problem as I can extend my current car month by month.
  16. I don't look at the fuel consumption as a guide to what I will get. Never have. Rather, it's more useful as, and was initially designed to be, a tool for comparison between vehicles.
  17. Mine is now confirmed for build next week and delivery 4 weeks after that. However my current lease doesn't go back until mid July so there will be a few weeks driving past the dealer every day on my way to work pining for it! Ordered mid March.
  18. I agree the diesel issue is probably the big thing at the minute. Its just topped my parents ordering a new Discovery Sport. UK VRS and Scouts are slow coming through, no ones had a new Scout yet I believe. My Scout is due for build next week I believe.
  19. Its not really though is it, a few enthusiasts may prefer old to new but were talking about about a mid sized fleet car in essence. There are far more variables to the pricing of one than a headlight.
  20. Exactly that. VWFS are buying the car direct from VW. They are obviously a massive discount with the added bonus that at the end of term VW are buying it back. Id heard 28% mentioned as discount when I was sorting mine out.
  21. Try Eardleys in Crewe, both my lease cars sourced through them at the cheapest price I could find at the time. When I compared PCH and PCP they didnt even give me the PCP price, it was so far behind it made no economic sense. I usedto keep my cars 7 to 8 years but a 2 year lease is suiting me down to the ground.
  22. Dont joke about this, when i was ordering mine the good lady had a casual glance at a Fabia and the next thing is pricing up Monte Carlo's. Id be well up for it but I'm the one thatll have to sort out the new bumper and odd bits on the old one!!
  23. Delivery is usually always included but it may be labelled as 'on the road'. The older brochures also had a column with it totalled in but the newest brochure doesnt mention price anywhere.
  24. It does sound good, but I'm naturally suspicious of these things!
