  1. Welcome to the forum!. I'm guessing its a diesel??, and i was concerned that mine was almost at 130k.
  2. i had the Osram Nightbreakers in mine but they kept blowing, have switched to the Phillips Xtreme Vision and so far so good. a little yellow in colour but i don't feel the need to use my main beams half as much any more.
  3. Phone up your local dealers, they should be able to help or at least give you an idea. Failing that give this a look http://workshop-manuals.com/skoda/octavia-mk2/vehicle_electrics/electrical_system/lights_lamps_switches_outside/high_level_brake_light/removing_and_installing_high_level_brake_light/ i realise that link is only for the changing over of the light but a least you can see what's involved.
  4. If you have the jumbo box it's in there, not sure where it is if you don't have the jumbo box though.
  5. The Laguna drive on the motorway with reverse lights permanently on, a headlight out and front fogs on.
  6. The clutch i have is great, just a few drives to bed it in. A bit heavier than the OEM clutch but if your not going to put extra power through the car i wouldn't bother.
  7. Got rid of the ice from the inside of the back window.
  8. Got a helix organic clutch for my car last year cost just under £400 for the clutch kit and then labour on top
  9. i thought you had to unlock the bootloader to root a device, certainly did with my Sony. Voided my phones warranty as you could never go back from the bootloader unlock.and had to get a code off Sony for the pleasure.
  10. I rooted my old phone (android) and if anything it made no difference to how the phone ran. Benefits are you can personalise you phone more and get rid of the Bloatware (built in useless apps). Negatives are you can brick the phone and have an expensive paperweight and like Aspman said you void you warranties.
  11. Not got the M but have the Xperia T, i'm finding with the Sony phones at the moment that reliability can be a bit of an issue. Maybe i've just been unlucky with my past two phones had the Arc beforehand. in summary great usability but might have an issue with build quality. Also looking at the spec its almost equivalent to the Xperia T, so software wise you will be golden.
  12. Looks like i'm going to have to get a piece of card to put in there, not sure why i never thought of that. The two illum option on this unit are: 1. Backlight off with headlights off 2. On/Off knob permanently illuminated. thanks for the response gents.
  13. Hello, Does anyone know if the backlight for the Stream MP3 can be switched off at all?. i only use the aux function on the unit and would rather have the cabin as dark as possible. i know the unit will briefly light up when changing the climatronic etc so there hopefully is a way of making it like that at least?. Many Thanks Bian
  14. I have set my own LTD company up in the past 6 months, cost £150 and my business bank account is free until feb next year. i have an accountant doing the money side of things for me. They sorted out all of the HMRC tax/vat requirements for me and i just invoice the company i'm contracting for via a accountancy website. In general i save a quarter of my wages for tax purposes as a just incase. All very simple, the biggest pain was the business bank account.
  15. 10 just to keep a bit of heat in or 11 if i'm feeling really cold, too hot in the house when i hit 12 on the thermostat. Living room sits at a comfortable 13 most of the time. Got a rebate on my gas past couple of years too, then they came round to check the meter probably to check i wasn't on the fiddle.
