  1. The time is always shown in the bar at the top of the screen (Bolero) along with temp. The digital or analog screen shown when radio etc is off can be enabled in settings.
  2. I fitted the golf ones from eBay well over a year ago. They said they wouldn't fit, but as the original paddles in the picture looked the same as mine I bought them. One unfortunately fell off in the hot weather but the other is firmly stuck with the supplied tape. I refitted the other with strong black "evo stick" silicone. They both work fine. I have to say that I don't use them a lot, except windy roads when I'm on my own. But for the price it does no harm to try them. I found the as fitted ones difficult to find when turning etc
  3. Changed my phone to a Moto x play. Transfered the app over and works fine on these also.
  4. Had 2 mk2 L&K's before my Mk3 Vrs. They were 1.8 tsi's. Excellent engine, suppose any upgrade to engines will be for best. The ride was comfortable, but on bends it tended to lean a fair bit. It's a luxury car not meant for chucking about, but for long distance drives, which it did well. Main reason I chose Vrs was for the engine, at the time the only petrol were 1.2, 1.4 & 2.0 in the Vrs. But I think the L&K would have proved too expensive had it been available at the time.
  5. If dealers near, pop back, they have the tools for the job.
  6. Always in eco mode but the first thing I do if I need to slow, for example roundabouts junctions etc is pull stick into S mode. It's only in eco because I have it not for environmental reasons. Wouldn't have a tsi Vrs if it was☺
  7. Always had this on cold days with Tsi for first few miles. But as soon as I level off the throttle it clears. So I assume it's just normal cold morning stuff.
  8. Had my green estate 2 yrs and still get positive comments and the odd, what made you choose that colour, as Redboy says. The Rapid has always been available in Rallye Green and noticed today a Fabia is back in it again as a special.
  9. Possible it's stored fault code, go or call dealer as soon as. That's what warranty and dealers are for
  10. I'm running near enough on the limit allowing for it'll be parked up a few weeks for holidays. TSi4 VRS (I) was £400. I could transfer it but not that special for a non 14 plate car.
  11. My Rallye green vrs dsg black pack estate is 2yrs old on a 3 yr PCP deal. Can't decide to change at 3 yrs or keep it. I have "Vrs" plate of that yr which sets it off. 20'000 miles. I assume I have to decide within 6 months to allow for new build if I take that route.Had no issues with it since bought.
  12. Trouble with twin rear fogs is it makes it difficult to respond quickly to the brake lights coming on when behind due to the glare masking the brake bulbs. Was much better when fogs were an after market type below the bumper.
  13. No idea what I've upset, I never see them again......☺
  14. Currently I'm moving cars around the country for a "job". The guys that drive us to the pick ups are due Superberb replacement cars. These are usually ex mechanics or at least from the motor trade, and they can't wait....
  15. I have today driven a Citroen Picasso with the auto box. I couldn't believe how bad it was. It felt like a box from the 1970's. Every time it changed up or down, it felt like I'd stabbed the clutch down and then slipped my foot off the pedal. Thank goodness for my DSG.
  16. My current vrs estate is 2yrs old. Never had an issue with this or anything else. Had 2 other mk2 L&k's.one had a corroded boot logo, it was replaced.
  17. I have just changed from a Nexus 5 that needed a phone book app to show pictures on Bolero. Now got Motorola x play & so far no pictures appearing on my radio even with this app. Need to find time to experimental
  18. Have you tried Skoda UK to see if it's too late. Depends on how far down the build list it is. Could be the dealer trying to drag more money out of you (as if)
  19. Don't mind the screen wash warning, it's the warning triangle staying on that annoys. Usually I haven't seen the written word before it goes off, just the triangle, then it's panic stations until my brain starts saying what's it mean. Then either the words re appear or my brain has remembered what it could be.
  20. Not allowed those in the UK as an option fit. Apparently it never gets cold enough....
  21. That's full of other man's things. No not a gym.
  22. Does any make of car have heated side windows and suround to help defrosting and lowering in frozen condition yet ????. I'm going to spray silicone furniture polish around the seals to see if it helps. It does on door seals.
  23. In the winter(whenever that is nowadays) take the ice scraper from the fuel flap and put it in the door pocket. If its icy chances are the flap won't open to remove it to clean the side windows. Front and back arn't a problem, they're heated. Just being picky
  24. Current speed. Go to average MPG occasionally on long runs or on way home.
  25. I to found standard fit Bridgestone's poor in the wet and even dry in poor roads, Eventually put Eagle F1's on the front. What an improvement, but they do wear quicker as expected. What I don't understand is if a particular Tyre is not good at it job of gripping the road, how do they pass various regulations to meet legal requirements. After all they don't come with warnings such as "beware do not use these in the rain". Insurance companies could if the wanted to up the premiums depending what tyres are fitted
