  1. OK, not from your Skoda dealer, but £76 fully fitted from Blackcircles
  2. It's rather unusual for a car dealership to stock tyres, with most of them ordering them in as required. You might have had more luck going to a tyre place as they do hold some stock, but realistically ordering one up from blackcircles or similar for local fitting would probably be your best bet What tyre is it that's fitted?
  3. I tried to adjust it and it came loose at the mounting. It needed spanners to tighten it up, which I didn't have so I took it off to stop it waving around
  4. It didn't feel fast, but all the performance was accessible, and I was happy to throw it around, ride up the verge without worrying. Trying to work out the pannier solution now. The chap that did the magic so I could fit Givis to my R1200R is happy to do similar on the Triumph so I've got to admit that I'm sorely tempted
  5. Rode this at the weekend. I realised that it was the first time I've had genuine fun on a bike in years. Turns out that I've simply been impressed by or in awe of the ever increasing technical marvels that I've been riding rather than actually having fun. Not quick, no quickshifter, no linked brakes, no GPS, no semi-active suspension, no wheelie assist... Just a simple, easy to ride bike that had me searching out b-roads, unclassified roads and jumping into puddles like a 2 year old with new wellies. I may just have to get back to basics
  6. I was sure I had one from my Yeti kicking about at the back of the garage but can't see it. Sorry
  7. I think I've got one from Superskoda in the garage I'll have a look tomorrow

  9. Rubber mats and the under-front-seat storage trays; far better than the ones on my Superb
  10. Good choice! The Citigo is not just a brilliant little car, it's a brilliant car, full stop.
  11. My stop start rarely works. Using the CTek monitor, it's clear that even on a long run, the battery doesn't get as well charged as it does when connected to a charger
  12. There are 241 2WD 110 diesel Yeti on Autotrader at the moment so you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one you like
  13. I'm starting to feel somewhat stupid. As planned, a few weeks ago, the Superb went into the dealer to try and resolve the problem. They spent about an hour and a half with the car and gave it a clean bill of health. They did however disconnect the little bluetooth OBDII dongle that was plugged in under the dash. I'd transferred it across from the Yeti when I changed cars and completely forgotten about it. They asserted that the presence of the dongle meant that not all of the car electronics powered down when switched off. I thought that was rubbish, but as it was a non standard part in the car, couldn't argue and decided to see how things went. I've left the OBDII dongle out ...and things have gone fine. Battery drain how is significantly lower than it was before. Of course this possibly means that one of the most annoying "problems" with the Yeti that lead me to sell it wasn't a problem at all...
  14. I'm assuming you've got the 190bhp diesel not the 280bhp petrol? (I'm viewing on Tapatalk so can't see your whole profile). I only ask as I don't think the petrol has a DMF, but the diesel does. Mine's the iccle 1.4 petrol 2wd, but I'll echo the comments of the others. The set up is configured to minimise fuel consumption which isn't always ideal for driving. In eco, I don't have enough power to overtake without mashing the pedal into the carpet, at which point it kicks down and all gets a bit frantic. I have to prepare by knocking the dsg lever back to put it in sport before hand and knock it again to put it back into eco again afterwards. Normal is generally ok for, err, normal driving and I suspect out of town it's actually more economical than eco as it doesn't have the ridiculous free-wheel feature. Annoyingly, I find I leave it in sport a lot in town where eco should be the preferred option as I don't like to hold up bicycles, milk floats and funeral cortèges

    Tdi DSG 4x4 MPG

the 2.0 110 was available as 4x4 in S, SE, DE Drive, SE Plus and Elegance spec
  16. From talking to the decal folk locally that fitted the 2nd Skoda kit to the lad's Citigo, the materials have a service life of 10 years (which should mean you'll get far more in the UK). Can't be pressure washed or car-washed though. Having had to remove the original decals from the lad's car (long story, insurance related not decal problem related but explains the "2nd" in the first sentence), that was really hard to do. They were stuck on good and proper, needed lots of hair dryer action on a hot day to get them shifted. There was no way they were coming off in a hurry and I reckon they'd have stood up to years of abuse. The only thing I can think of, is I don't know if they are fitted to the car by Skoda at the factory (where they should all be uniform, or if the decal kit is supplied for the dealer to fit as part of the PDI (where the quality of the result may be variable)? Whatever, back to the dealer for warranty replacement, I'd suggest.
  17. Perhaps the fault is that the rest of the Citigos don't have it! A peak acceleration light! Brilliant!
  18. I leave my BMW for 6 months at a time. Starts first press of the button. Checking the manual, it does suggest "If the vehicle is not used for longer than 3 to 4 weeks, then disconnect the negative terminal  or charge the battery constantly with a very low charging current." which doesn't seem too unreasonable, but I'd expect to only have to do that in fairly extreme conditions.
  19. I expect I'll get the same response. I fully charged (ctek charger) and it only took 5 days to get to the point where KESSY had powered off.
  20. Looking at it, it'll be a very significant repair - lots of stripping back, cutting out the side of the car, welding in the new *major* section followed by a difficult spray and reassembly. Depending on where the damage is and how substantial it is, I'd caution against simply filling and spraying as that area is structural
  21. Ah. i was looking for Superb 1.4 DSG with CZE engine, but I'm struggling to find a pumped version
  22. Having looked at it, the DEFA one seems to be simply a heater clamped to the bottom of the sump. Am I missing something?
  23. Just to chuck in my 2d. I find my 1.4 Sportline a bit of a conundrum. Engine is refined and competent for sensible motoring but all gets a bit frenetic at higher revs in lower gears (i.e. away from the lights in Sport mode) so best if driven in a relaxed, limo-like manner. I also get a fair amount of wheelspin which detracts from fast getaways. I wonder what the 2.0 2WD is like in that regard? Sportline suspension and low profile tyres don't give a limo-like ride, but it doesn't have a sporty feel on the road either. My Yeti, Octavias, Fabia and Citigo all felt more in control through the bends. So again it needs driving like a limo but doesn't give the luxury ride. And of course, one of the main reasons we bought it was that, with the monster rear seat space and huge glass roof it was so spacious and light, but as the lad's now gone to uni there's just the 2 of us so we don't benefit from the space. With hindsight, I should probably have gone for an SEL or L&K. Or Golf R Estate...
  24. I've connected my CTek sensor. Not entirely convinced that what it's telling me it's accurate, but the trend isn't good I'm going to do 200-300 miles over the next couple of days so I'll see how well it charges
  25. I've checked and it's a Banner battery. Car's booked in with Skoda for checking in the New Year
