I didn't doubt Coding II was missing, my point was that was for CAN network Yours should be UDS, like it is in my own car. You can see this on the top left of each module you enter (tip of the day!) I also have the 2x DPF sensors (not switches) which has always been an oddity to me as to why this is. One tube from each will head before and after the DPF, and the other side vents to atmosphere 🧐 My older cars (Passats) have been single DPF sensor, as it is on many cars.

Was you following the UDS instructions, and can you see it under Adaptions? I will go look at my car, I am sure it's there. Mine is UDS and I couldn't see anything to adapt it 🤔

VCDS Can show how many times it has been flashed by OBD port, if the ECU was bench flashed, the counter can be defeated and rolled back to look like it hasn't. If the car is scanned by ODIS diagnostic then checksums are sent off to the mothership, and if they don't match, then it set's a new PR Code flag for the car TD1 for example. I don't think tuner's can fool this, could be wrong.

You will need Developer menu enabling, this needs VCDS or equivalent tool that can login to radio and adapt channel. After you then can use the "toolkit"

The screen is often seperate to the infortainment system, though I cannot say yours is 100% this is normally the case for many systems. Glad you have got it sorted out now. Example image

Can you please find your Software Train value from your car, usually hold down your Menu button and then find it. This is also location you will need to perform the update.
