Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Odds are high that the update is 0480 But you're in the wrong menu for firmware flashing. Hold down your menu button for a few seconds until you get into engineering screen, look for Software Train, this also has the correct button to flash with. Post a picture of Software Train.

Tailgate Struts - which part?
I have checked on parts catalog, and the number on your struts has not been superseded, so you should be able to order away quite happily. Many sources are also saying 440mm, and as @sepulchrave just order away, should be good to go.

Tailgate Struts - which part?
You could be struggling as your year there was a changeover from 5J-7-000001>> VINs to 6Y-7-000001>> Do you know which of the 2 VIN values are for your car? EDIT: Sorry need more coffee, you have a 6Y VIN as your existing part number suggests.

@fabia88 I have compiled as much information as I could for your car, here they are. Your VIN PR code list (scrubbed last 6 digits) TMBBE73TXB9------.pdf This document from pages 131-065 shows you an overview of every choice that could be fitted for your VIN (as it left the factory, so does not show what has been superseded) So this gives you the exploded view that should be useful. EGR 131-065.pdf Part 05 - 03L 131 512 CF Cooler for exhaust gas recuperation with control flap has been superseded as I guessed it might have been to 03L 131 512 DQ You also have the choice of buying new and binning the old one, or the possibility of an exchange part exists (with caveats as always) And finally if we go to order the EGR Cooler/Valve, this gives us a large list or parts to replace (seals/bolts) and possible additional items associated. Parts and Seals.pdf You can reference this along with the EGR 131-065.pdf to see the part fitting locations.

poor connectivity
Without checking your actual software train value, can never be 100% sure. But odds are high that your software train is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0478T Available is MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T so a minor bump. If it was working before and stable, and is now become hard to connect, then it's either cable as @john999boy mentions or the physical USB port has failure (bent pins or such)

I don't suppose you know part number of what is currently fitted? If you don't know, please PM VIN if you like and I shall try to look and see (this will also check if part has been replaced)

Keep us updated on any developments, when I decoded the VIN I was shocked even though you did mention map was AUS/NZ (hoping it was user error of someone loading wrong map) Let's hope it's not something naughty, and just some massive 🐔up of an Aussie car being shoved on wrong boat.

Hello folks.
Looks awesome for sure. 😍 Quick one I noticed, you said in first post 470 ft-lbs and 450 in your signature, one must be a typo (aware you probably cannot edit 1st post now)

Hello folks.
Welcome Kieran, Car sounds fast for sure.

Egr valve issues
Given your symptoms and the everytime the fault occurs quicker, odds are high that it's a gummed up EGR valve. Hopefully someone that fixes these car more than me (I am not a mechanic, but have replaced EGR and other bits) will be able to tell you if anything can clean it, or more than likely it's easier to replace. Word of caution though about fault codes, it doesn't always mean the problem is in the part throwing up the fault codes.

What is supposed to be here? (see picture)
It's really cheap part, grab number and google for your own local Country results. You could also visit dealer it's that cheap.

Delivery times?
MY22 is indeed N MY23 is P I dare say the change is tied into the 2 week close, and they change tooling over to new things for the next MY year. That's my understanding of it.

Skoda wrongly switching car to fixed from variable servicing?
If you have the part number for the oil... it can be decoded

What is supposed to be here? (see picture)
This should be the part number 5J6867145A 47H (Colour Onyx), but best check with dealer for exact fitment.

Egr valve issues
Not sure of your entire car history, but it would appear you have (or previous owner) the EA189 NOx emissions fix done in the past. At some point your engine would have been on 6xxx version, and now on 9978 As you you can see from this table, even the NOx fix, has had fixes applied. Before you go down this route and get messy, I seem to think there was many complaints of EGR valves going wrong post EA189, and they had to replace the EGR valves. Not sure if this still applies or if the goodwill period has expired (assuming I am not barking up the wrong tree!)

Egr valve issues
My understanding of that log, is that it asked for 100% activation of the valve inside and was only given a few percent (actual) Have you removed to check how much cack is on the valve?

Octavia III trailer lights not working after Rear LED retrofit
It will be you having made adjustments to the coding for your OEM rear lights, now your tow bar is no longer getting power supplied to the rear light on the socket. Fixing it will be problem now, you may have to look very close at coding and try to get it working again, or take to professionals that did the tow bar and maybe they can code with your OEM LED lights.

Software update
Cheers, I am sure that is the latest for the 01xx versions, Now you can back out and reboot to normal mode. Edit: There are 2 releases in the 01xx series - 0155 and 0156 Not applicable to you are 0238, 0276 & 0278 In the 03xx you have 0304 & 0306 I am not sure if the unit is going online to a server, and is reading that 02xx an 03xx series is newer than your 0156 and showing the stupid prompt? You could badger the dealers to "check" and send off what's called a DISS report (iirc) and then this bounces it off to importer, then onto Germany/Factory to suggest a fix. Be something like re-install firmware, or they need to release a possible newer 01xx version that does not check and report 02xx/03xx as updates available!
