  1. You will need to post image of your Software Train, hold down menu/setup button to enter the hidden menu. Odds are it's 0480
  2. 0359 is the latest version in the 03xx series of updates.
  3. There is an update to 0138 But this is bug fixes and such, the features are existing in all firmwares usually, but they are turned on and off with codes usually programmed in at factory.
  4. Not my picture, but this is Emley Moor tower lit up for the Queen.
  5. Oh for sure, but depending on your unit, USB will be an option. Maybe there is an eye-wateringly expensive 2TB SD Card out there now... hate to think of the price. EDIT: 1.5TB micro SD size does exist, 2TB is still a no.
  6. The MBR Vs GPT is our limit So as seen below, or max SD Card size or USB is 2.199 TB The partition would then be formatted as either exFAT (vFAT if you like) or NTFS The 2-TB barrier is the result of this 32-bit limitation. Because the maximum number that can be represented by using 32 bits is 4,294,967,295, it translates to 2.199 TB of capacity by using 512-byte sectors (approximately 2.2 TB). Therefore, a capacity beyond 2.2 TB isn't addressable by using the MBR partitioning scheme.
  7. I did find this last night, handy if you ever wanted to know the names. https://www.schemecolor.com/skoda-auto-logo-colors.php @skomaz How's that for good timing 🤣
  8. Damn, I myself prefer VCDS as you can save all your original codings, does OBDeleven do this? If it did, then would be great to set everything back to basics. Alternatively you might have to go to see an Independent workshop with ODIS and a 30 minute session might be enough to get all the factory codings input to the car. Hopefully you can find someone on the VCDS list that can code you back to something close to factory.
  9. It might be best to lookup on this list here https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/262215-list-of-vcds-owners-previously-known-as-vag-com-vcp-owners/ and send a PM to the closest member (check also when last logged in)
  10. To add a bit of weight to what @J.R. has just said, the pictures I posted earlier where from a Honda forum. They were posted a few year's back, and nobody posted back to say their sump spat it's dummy out.
  11. I thought the same earlier, and curiousity took hold of me 🤣
  12. It's this rule (yup, had to look it up) Amazing! But I guess in an accident you could be trapped.
  13. Some of these updates are quite large, hopefully someone who has done these new updates might say it took 60 mins or some such value.
  14. Might be an idea to scan this list for known users, and find someone local. If power is getting to the seats, you maybe have a broken communication wire, so signals are not getting to the seats. Hopefully if you are armed with a multimeter you can check some Voltages (if you can get anywhere near)
  15. @pipocas77 Welcome to the forum first of all. You do have a fair bit of work to do to make all this work, and risk of breaking your unit if not careful. Update Software Train to 0253 version You then need to enable Developer Menu in radio with VCDS or similar You will have to then install MIB Toolkit (and make modification to this package for 0253 firmware) Once this is installed, you then need to figure out to patch your system
  16. I did a look about on Google for crackled pan images, not too many about. If this has always been this way, then here is someone's reply to this. The reply was "That is casting flash, not cracks. Its normal."
  17. Ok, so bulbs are 3 months old. And you did replace a ballast pack. Have you measured Voltage of car battery with car off and on? And also check Voltages going to each headlight at the plug connector.
  18. They will be cheaper off internet than dealers. iirc they have about 2,000 hrs average lifespan, so probably now are gone at that age.
  19. Are those Xenon's originally what came with the car? They are either old and need replacing as a pair, if not your car is perhaps not sending enough power.
  20. Unlocking under 30 seconds the control modules will still be awake, in process of shutting down. So that I can understand. After 30 seconds all good, perfect. Opening after a few hours and no lights is odd sure. Have you disabled CH/LH lights locked car, gone back in after a minute, and enabling, lock car and wait an a few hours to see if it works?
  21. My Amundsen unit has a 128GB card in it, working fine, hopefully extra information helps.
  22. Everything points to low Voltage for that. What tool did you scan with, and where was the code stored?
  23. Now you have fitted and got more plausable results, what are your Soot Calculated and Measured values looking like now? Less than 20g hopefully for both.
  24. Identical to my 1.6TDI, 2x DPF sensors and only using a single pipe (like why!!!) 😆
