  1. Try checking 1K8 955 435
  2. Hello Richard, looks like you've been busy
  3. Welcome 🤝
  4. Thank you for confirming, this is location for firmware update, and you can go to 0480
  5. No update, you have current
  6. You are correct on the numbers I will send link in a moment.
  7. VW RNS510 West Europe v17 2020 I do have this, 99% sure it's the last ever release, probably needs firmware update too as "base" for the map to sit upon.
  8. Of course, no need to wait. Just locate correct model section and post away!
  9. Welcome 🤗
  10. Hold down your menu button, and enter the hidden menu with Software Train information (and correct firmware update button)
  11. A tip would be to email them and if part department send you a quote for the part, it might have the part number you require. Then go order elsewhere, unless it's not too bad (unlikely cheap at dealers)
  12. Please don't actually order this part!!! It's a no-name brand that might aim your headlights at the sky 🤐 But more for illustration purposes https://www.amazon.co.uk/HEADLIGHT-LEVEL-SENSOR-1T0907503B-1K0941274C/dp/B071RMQRX1 You will need to order the part via VIN or Registration to confirm that you get exact part (or look at existing broken one)
  13. Sensor for automatic levelling of headlight's. Got Xenon headlight's and washer's?
  14. Oh, you've already posted this information. As mentioned you have MU version 0361 Available 0369. If you want to reboot without fuse pulling, just hold down the volume button until you see the boot logo, about 10 seconds roughly.
  15. Available is 0369. Look for fuse to pull out for radio, give it 20 seconds and insert again.
  16. You can check for software update by pressing and holding down the menu key. This should enable you to see the Software Train information, and this could be checked for updates.
  17. Similar to DPF, the GPF will be anywhere from £1,000 to £1,800 inc VAT for an exchange part. As mentioned by yourself, we need to find out how they will be getting on after 5 years etc.
  18. @rlhortle Are you using generic SD Cards for the update or Skoda branded SD Card?
  19. If you find some clear instructions on the task, then get back in touch. Without clear instructions I can check, I don't wish it to be a one-way trip to broken head unit.
  20. @MaShu Stick files onto SD Card, and forget USB! Remove all USB and other cards from car. Use battery support, or start the engine before update, do not start engine during update, it needs stable power for up to 1 hour, usually 20mins average time though. That should make success.
  21. Try this process, should work, have to let me know if it doesn't.
  22. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Battery_Replacement If the car has Address 61: Battery Regul. then it's 'coded' If that does not exist then you adapt it via Address 19: Gateway 'adaption' 90%+ of people I would estimate would be familiar with the word coding, not adaptation, hence why it's often used (even when strictly not true)
  23. Glad you got it sorted in the end, copy that on cancel the cardboard box.
  24. Perhaps you just need to use a steering wheel knob that disabled people use as adaptions? Use right hand to grip only as and when you need to change gear's? Left handed steering might feel a little off to begin with if not your dominant hand, but should be workable.
