  1. This is yet another example of the difference from the Factory maintenance schedule and then an importer seems to decide that it doesn't matter/apply. So Factory says it's every 2 years. Skoda UK say 3 years, then every 2 years after. The same thing occurs with 1.5tsi act engine timing belts, Factory says lifetime, Skoda UK recommends every 5 years. Factory and importers should be singing off the same page, to stop all the confusion.
  2. Great first choice you made, good luck with radio hunting.
  3. Was you able to update it yet?
  4. I didn't want to point that out 😆 Welcome to the forum BTW, let's hope you can get it off now. Quite a few people don't bother with locking wheel nuts these days, not really heard of people stealing many alloys, so might be an idea to think about putting standard wheel bolt in.
  5. You won't be notified of an update unless it fixes something serious. So unless you have specific symptoms that is listed in a TPI document, they won't touch you/help you.
  6. Hi

Hello and hope you enjoy your Superb 🤝
  7. Must have posted at same time again 🤝
  8. You may need to supply your VIN so have it ready. @pab567 This person is asking for a hardware upgrade if you have a moment. EDIT: As if by magic you appear.
  9. If you go onto erWin Skoda, and register an individual account, you can for 7 Euros (about £7.50) download your build sheet (PR Codes - helpful for parts finding) your entire wiring diagram/repair information and look up the TPI (Technical Product Information) documents that can describe issues and offer solutions. Well worth it if you are planning to retrofit a factory fit kit (ideal way) If it's too daunting, then you have @ApertureS @East_Yorkshire_Retrofits that could probably do all you need, and do a bang up job.
  10. I can only assume someone didn't do the job correctly at some point, or the garage doing the work didn't have access. I have seen VIN's where even the PDI is missing 🤔

    Welcome to the forum 🤝
  13. Welcome Charlie, looks good there. 🤝
  14. You should hold down your Menu key for 10 seconds to find your Software Train value and post back.
  15. So yes, what @Breezy_Pete has said about O (as in Oscar) and 0 (as in the number zero), there are no parts I have ever seen that use the letter O. AFAIK there is also no part that has I (for India) and there is only 1 (as in the number one) used in the parts catalog. Regards to the question about colour codes, here you can see a basic idea of the choices Here are some parts snippets, and you can buy some things without any colour preparation 1. 5Q0 919 275 B So this is the sensor as it comes from the factory 2. 5Q0 919 275 B GRU This is the sensor with primer only ready to paint 3. 5Q0 919 133 A seal ring without any specified colour (no longer available) 4. 5Q0 919 133 9B9 A seal ring in Satin Black 5. 5Q0 919 133 704 A seal ring in Grey colour
  16. I have a different system, but yours will be similar to the Italian video. Just it won't update the OCU system. I do have your current version of the firmware, as well as newer. But I don't think I have ever seen a backup feature.
  17. It will either work or not, and it has emergency boot built into it. Usually only time users have any issues is when they have a duff SD Card or USB, which has happened.
  18. Welcome back, hope you enjoy your car 🤝
  19. Some of the firmware updates have a list which states which software trains it updates (supported) Sadly the MEN3_EU_SK370 series do the oppostite, they state only blocked trains, so it makes it hard to know if the update will apply or not. I can only send you a file and you try it. As for your problem, not sure that this will update your OCU/SOS fault, as this update I believe is not baked into this like MOI3_EU_SKMQB.
  20. I have MEN3_EU_SK370_P0113P, which is MU SW 0469 and loads of others that might update higher than what you have
  21. I can send update and you apply yourself.
  22. If you mean firmware, it's 0369.
