  1. There is a map you can view in the first line on this thread, and you can then PM people that might be local to you (most likely Leeds) I will send you a PM, so you can decide.
  2. @ksilsden If you have documented evidence of the SOS error (phone pictures or videos) taken from that date, and the fact you was supposed to go in for a recall in December, then this all helps your case. So maybe, just maybe then you have some evidence that you presented your car to investigate these errors. Good of you to fess up about the evap, it's one you may have to take on the chin (nothing stopping you from taking it to another garage) I myself don't have much trust in dealers, it's amazing how much they seem to fob you off (they invented gaslighting I am sure) Keep at Skoda UK, they are your most likely chance of getting something done, more so if you have evidence of fault whilst in warranty.
  3. Welcome, sorry to hear about your illness, but glad you are getting on your feet again. I suspect best place to post will be directly in the section for Fabia II https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/113-skoda-fabia-mk-ii/ There is a ICE section on the forum, but this will target (hopefully) people who have upgraded their sound systems.
  4. Try SB19, a 15 Amp fuse in engine bay IIRC
  5. @ksilsden Not sure what they did exactly in December, but maybe you will be able to get a goodwill contribution for the OCU fault that was supposed to have been fixed back in December. Can you check your invoice for what is on it? It seems you have emailed Skoda UK, so now you need to wait for them to look into your case, so close to being out of warranty, you might get some contribution. The evap canister you will most likely have to swallow, it's often caused by over filling the tank (not saying you have done this)
  6. Saves fuel, it is what I would do!
  7. There is a list of forum members with VCDS, I might be close to you and willing to try and assist.
  8. Yes, if you don't have a battery charger for example, then only safe choice is to start the engine.. unless you feel your battery has the strength (I would never risk this!) Well yes, generally they would have a track of the changes made to the system, but if it failed hardware wise, then the new unit might be on a new hardware part with different firmware (we won't know unless it happens) I would not worry too much about this software change, but document yourself if you like of course.
  9. Welcome to the forum Michael, Yes the update should bring you to 0306 should you wish (if your Software Train is in the correct format) I cannot understand Italian, but seeing the screens is much more helpful than me typing out 20 steps for sure. Dealers are very reluctant to do software changes as they are concerned about breaking things, understandable really, but as you can see the success rate is good. With any software update, you do really need stable power, at the least I usually tell people to have their engine running to keep stable power. During the official process at dealer, at the end the new software version will be updated at their end so they know you left factory with 0276, and now have 0306. Not sure what you mean about changing of hardware parts exactly.
  10. Rule of thumb, if the engine software is 9970 or higher, then that's 99% likely to be down to NOx fix
  11. Most report frequent regenerations with the fix yes.
  12. They will do a regeneration at 1,000km regardless of any soot loading. So it may have been that.
  13. Not denying your words, just the https://manual.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com/Models I have looked at so far show 140 Nm (I check 4 random years including 2021) No denying, VAG are a law unto themselves. I don't carry mine in the car, but would have be at home to check, and I roughly know by feel. It's more so VAG can cover themselves if you change wheel and it flies off.
  14. You can have update to 0480, sent via PM
  15. Sounds like you are going for more horses (HP) the more the merrier. Hope you enjoy it.
  16. Have a look in the catalog, there are lots of choices, it will depend on your year and what options your car has. https://www.lllparts.co.uk/catalogs/skoda/CZ
  17. I see exactly same part too if it helps you feel better 🤝
  18. Seen as 140Nm in maintenance doc, 04.2022 date. 🤪
  19. Go with erWin Skoda, about 7 Euros for one hour, you will easily grab all wiring diagrams and repair manuals. It's where my screenshot came from.
  20. I think they are the door sill (cill however it's spelt) protection foils?
  21. The engine manual states to prepare at least 10 litres of pre-mixed coolant. So use as a rough guide value when ordering in fluids.
  22. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155256903884 That is the item put into a link (don't be afraid to post, delete the ? and all the fluff after it) The part you posted looks spot on, as the only other choice is black with no chrome trim. Price wise it's £150 from dealers, so the eBay link is a steal 🤝
  23. Glad it puts a smile on your face Tony, hope it brings you much more happiness.
