Karoq cam belt change - start saving now !
Yes this is the conclusion we made regarding the 1.5 engine, it's in the engine manual too that this is a lifetime belt. But the debate rages on due to being the internet, and Skoda UK (or other importers) cover their own ass by overruling the factory, or saying it is "recommended" and therefore spreading doubt.

Karoq cam belt change - start saving now !
Here are the details for Cambelt change for up to MY 2020 (Manufacturer Year) Note the document is dated 04.2022, so it's not an out of date file. This is from the factory maintenance, now Skoda UK, Skoda Czech can recommend you do it at XX Km or Y Years, but that's to cover their ass basically.

21 plate Octavia PHEV - "engine needs to run for longer" error
There are some issues for some with the Gateway that needs replacing IIRC, as it allows more 12V charging. It might be a software update also needed at the same time. The message is caused AFAIK from the 12V battery being depleted, and not getting a charge for a while, so it demands the engine be run a bit more for charging the 12V battery. The health of the 12V battery might be comprimised now, and needs replacing because of the terrible charging, see if you can check it with a proper load test somewhere.

Which infotainment system do I have?
Press and hold down the Menu/Setup button for 10 seconds, this enters you into engineering menu. Then look around for Software Train information. Yours might be.. MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0359T Available MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0369T Where MST2 = MIB2 and MSTD = MIB1

Columbus Infotainment System
Me or Pab567 would be able to send. They are on eBay if you cannot burn CD-R. As for the pressing, not sure yet as the firmware recovery might actually allow some functionality to work, as it's in recovery mode. Take a picture as requested, and fingers crossed.

Columbus Infotainment System
As long as you can burn a CD-R from an ISO image, you will be ok. This will give you an idea of what you will be doing

I need Bolero Update :-)
They do not release changelog for us to read, but best answer is bug fixes, like Bluetooth might drop out on some phones etc. I can send a link for you in a moment to download.

That should still have plenty of life in the DPF, unless the wrong oil was put in. Anyhow, enjoy the trip away, and hopefully you can come back in a few weeks to inform us on what's happened with the car since.

Enjoy the trip away! p.s. what is the mileage on the car now roughly?

Part help
My best stab in the dark guess is a guide profile, but it's not easy to see myself from the images. Note they are not the same shape Left/Right. As mentioned, I could be barking up the wrong tree

Intermittent Misfires & VCDS Scan results
If you don't have stop/start the adapting the battery is not really relevant at all, hence why you might be missing the entries for battery. Did you get around to fitting the plug(s) coil pack(s) yet? As this is your main culprit that spawns the additional errors in engine control module. As for your maintenance, they are every 4 years or 40,000 miles (60,000km to be precise, but they allow 40k miles) replacement plugs, so due at some point this year a full set. 2015 -> 2019 -> 2023 as you do low mileage. To determine which cylinder if you only brought single plug/coil pack, unplug connector and scan car, it will soon tell you which one is unplugged, and you can determine Cyl 1-4.

Which infotainment system do I have?
As long as you can get Developer mode enabled with VCDS or similar, then you can DIY this. You should decide if paying for such a tool is worth it, as a few visits to the dealer will offset the tool cost. I think dealers charge about 150 Euro to add the code into your car, so that way is most of the price of VCDS tool that can be sold at a later day for not much loss of money.

Where to source reliable MAF for 53 plate Octavia 1.8t 4x4
Yes on paper that seems like the correct part, they are about £3xx something from main dealers (they do love a good markup) Buyer beware of course, so make sure to use PayPal protection etc.

Where to source reliable MAF for 53 plate Octavia 1.8t 4x4
Yes that means the part number I put up should be the OE number (original equipment) I think that site ships from Germany, so makes returns a little trickier IIRC, and the difference between the top and bottom make no sense to me, middle is a refurb part. The only possible reason for top/bottom difference I can think of, is the top cheaper is an exchange part where you have to send back old. 06A 906 461 L 06A 906 461 LX = Where the X on the end is for exchange (this part might not exist, but that's how VAG name those parts. I would recommend you scour eBay a little more and see if you can get a part off there, ask seller question if the part number is not clear on the images.

Where to source reliable MAF for 53 plate Octavia 1.8t 4x4
They nearly always come complete, this might be the part you need. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285110689690 I am not saying to buy this one, just as example, so buyer beware. 06A 906 461 L for AUQ, AUM or ARX engine codes, you can check this on your V5 if you can confirm this, and look on your existing MAF for part number.
