  1. Let us know if that's bone dry. Do you run with the AC on all the time?
  2. Any card will work, brand not important
  3. I have same firmware in my car, I had to use SD Card, not USB to update firmware.
  4. I bet the same "fight" is happening on Audi, VW & SEAT forum's, the unknown and conflicting information out there is not helping. Factory manual says no, Importer says X/Y Forum member say's Y
  5. Find out if you have a DQ200 box, as there is a fault that states this... "Noises when changing to 3rd gear - DSG DQ 200 gearbox" It's all about an issue with 3rd gear, 4th to 3rd or 2nd to 3rd.
  6. If it's 02E (DQ250 iirc) then sealed for life. At least as far as I recall. You really need the gearbox code to know for sure. EDIT: The above was from memory, so will leave it rather than cover up my mistake. Here is a link to the gearboxes on TPS https://tps.trade/insider/dsg-servicing
  7. @ASamir86You have already asked the question to Pab567, so patience is key as he will be working. The firmware you have now has the ability already inside for Smart link etc, but it has to be enabled. Scroll up a few posts and see the process, you must have developer mode enabled, or you cannot use the free activation method. Firmware update to version 0253 is available, but you will have to await Pab567 as you asked him first.
  8. I had several Passats over the years @Gaz, only got a very low mileage Superb 2015 (less than 500 iirc) but sold it a few years later as I was doing 6 miles to work each way for a petrol corsa. I miss the Superb, but the DPF would have been shot with those short journeys in no time.
  9. Get replacement pipes basically, a few others have posted similar crusty pictures. AFAIK you can clean off the crud with just plain water, plenty of plain water (but make sure to cover up as many plugs as possible and use low pressure)
  10. S-Repair HV battery (93L8) Start date : 21-12-2022 With Superb PHEV vehicles from a limited production period, there is a possibility that moisture can penetrate into the HV battery due to an improperly designed battery box seal. Ingress of moisture is indicated by a warning message on the instrument panel display. In the affected cars, the top of the battery box, the battery regulation control unit J840, the LV plug and the mating surfaces of the coolant connections are sealed with butyl sealant. On selected cars, after carrying out the work described above, the top of the HV battery must be sealed with protective wax.
  11. This will need adapting to the car as you have stop/start (unless you are very close in Ah) say 68Ah to 70Ah close. Process if you want a look If you want advice on battery, then post up a picture as dealers will want your whole wallet, whereas you could buy online and fit yourself (if Ah is close and keeping same technology)
  12. Depending on how regular this occurs, then that helps as intermittant faults are harder to tie down. There should be lots of fault codes logged in the car, and it might be an idea to locate someone with VCDS or similar to read what's stored, and also do some live data logging.
  13. You should run the AC 24/7 if you aren't already doing so. It will keep the moisture at bay. You can also check cabin filter is not damp, as it shouldn't be.
  14. Do those lights go away once started and driven a little? Odds are battery is on way out, or go around and check the Earth's in as many places as you can are clean and secure. At just over 4 years, the battery could be shot. Does it do this after you have driven a few miles, stopped a few mins (at shop/supermarket) and got in?
  15. That person hasn't been online for over 2 years, probably moved on.
  16. Daft thing was 12 years ago I had a Passat 😆
  17. Welcome, let's change that shall we Hope you enjoy the Superb, lovely cars.
  18. Hello, yes I can send you a new firmware to 0253 version Also you can grab new maps from this post here... You have "1910" and is available "2010" version
  19. Albertville are 8J X 19H2 ET41 for reference Someone will check this, but this should be the full size steel you need.
  20. As you can see from this document, not saying it applies to your DSG, but their hands are tied if they cannot read the code, then warranty will reject the claim. This means you or the dealer would have to pocket the bill.
  21. Can you PM him a link please to 5274 so he has this? Edit: I do have 5274, if not in your hand. 5274 as suggested by @pab567 S00.1000.03.99 #Integrationphase: Delivery cw45/12 C10/C12-samples #VwSwPartNumber:1T0035680L/3T0035680G/7F0035680B #/7E0035680B/1T0035680P/1T0035680Q/3T0035680K/3T0035680L/1T0035686/1T0035686C/1T0035686D/7F0035686/7E0035686/3T0035686/3T0035686C/3T0035686D/7N5035686/2H0035680 #VwSwIndex:5274/5274/5274/5274/5274 #AppsBuild:C_EU_13.274_t2 C10/C12
  22. I know a guy who can supply firmware 😁
  23. So many online catalogs/eBay listings are pure bogus. They often say they are compatible, when they aren't at all (not saying in this case they ain't) GiGo = Garbage in Garbage out was how I was taught PC input.
