erWin Skoda is your best bet here, you should save your VIN into a text file before you start, pay for 1hr and you will get wiring diagrams and repair manuals for your car. Cost is 7 Euro, so about £7.50 roughly after conversion/fee.

If they do their job correctly, then they should lookup and find TPI on their own. They shouldn't disable it without informing you, and getting you to sign document, so you could refuse to.

I think mine bongs up, and appears on the dash (or at least indicates as such) we have crusty connection on rear left lights, needs whack to remind it to work.

You might want to edit that quickly if possible, to read "captures" as removes implies it literally removes it. As you later go on to say, the Ash oil cannot be removed.

This thread here will tie into the diagnosis with VCDS and wiring diagrams to see how the loom is running out to the sensors. Read my log, and if you scan and get the same, odds are a wire will have gone crusty.

I could be wrong, but they seem to be active and ready to pair up, have you plugged in a USB cable?
