Battery issues and Auto Stop/Start not working
Gotcha, well there are other similar tools, OBDeleven? Not one I have ever used myself. The other way I justified my expense many years ago was thinking of how many dealer/independent workshops visits would it take to cover the expense of purchase. Mine has done me a massive service for the time I have used it. They also do hold up on resale value quite well if you left the VAG stable. And of course, the other way is to pay a forum member that's local if possible some beer tokens for a scan here and there.

P0171 Help
You just need to use the correct tool for the job really. .50 BMG should do it, if you have two warning lights, then the 20mm is perfect. Strictly not helpful, but damn worth a shot (pun intended)

Battery issues and Auto Stop/Start not working
A quick Google of VCDS will show you, it doesn't need much power to run the program. There are other tools other than this, so perhaps look down in the diagnostic section of the forum to ask anything you need.

Electrical faults, battery drain
A low battery can cause no end of fault codes that then disappear when the Voltage is healthy again. It might also be an intermittent fault in a loom wire that will come and go, until it becomes permanent fixture.

Superb Sportline or L&K 272 or 280
Correct, the DPF or GPF will use a G450 or G505 sensor π€It will look same, along with a pipe(s) down to the filter.

Battery issues and Auto Stop/Start not working
Yes getting the battery paired to the car was what I was referring too. If you have VCDS, it's worth double checking, as someone recently had their 70Ah input as 7Ah @DuncanDisorderly

Multiple low voltage warnings on cold days yet starts no issue (car just serviced)
AGM's are made for Stop/Start, EFB's are the "weaker" version. Some reading material for you https://procarmanuals.com/pdf-online-vag-ssp-504-vehicle-batteries/ https://procarmanuals.com/pdf-online-vag-ssp-426-start-stop-system-2009/

Battery issues and Auto Stop/Start not working
Did you adapt the battery when you changed it? What sort of battery is on it now, EFB/AGM and Ah ratings etc (picture is quick if you prefer) I charged my battery when I got it to 100% SOC off the car before fitting, not once was I worried about overcharging. Not sure how often it updates the ECU/Gateway as to the SOC, but I suspect it's probably several times a second. So even a car that thinks it has 60% SOC will soon clock on to the fact it has more SOC than it was thinking and dial back the Alternator. I did some testing in the car just yesterday, on idle it was reporting the Generator as making/supplying 500W and it has to have some real time values to even show that. I then turned on heated rear and front windows, and that figure jumped up to 2,000W (Alternator is 180A for reference) and again the value dropped off the instant I turned them both off back to 500W. So the car knows fairly well how much SOC is in it, and can show in real time the values.

You can save crawling around if you look at the top/back area of your engine. Look for black/grey heat wrap with some buttons usually, and if you pop them open to reveal this, you have GPF.

I would assume you have had multiple as you have stated, I would not wait to let it die, as said here by John... So you have both sides now, to replace or not to replace is now your choice. π€

1st time - Battery low, warning
Definitely shop around, Halfords have some CTEK's in at not too mad a price. The CTEK MXS 5.0 is Β£80 currently, but low stock. I picked up a MXS 7.0 for Β£99.99 (you can now use PAYDAY10 to get it down to Β£98.99, this is 7Amp which matches the 70Ah rating in the perfect 10% rate.

Intermittent Misfires & VCDS Scan results
Two things, battery can be a main culprit (and it was changed I see) Did you adapt the new battery, and match the technology to the car? Also can you post a full car scan, as some are marked as with error, but not seen. Attach as text, or put inside a < > Code tag to keep the formatting easier to read.

Wheel spacers
Well if you're talking rubber, then you have choices Anyhow I strayed off topic, but if it made you smile π EDIT: Being serious for one moment, I never bothered too much with all the tyre snobbery that can exist, I just had a mobile tyre fitted that I trusted to fit something that would keep me as a repeat customer.

Dodgy Electrics
I release more dangerous gasses (quantity) They are fairly well sealed for life, and the days of boiling batterys is rare (not heard of anything recently)

Multiple low voltage warnings on cold days yet starts no issue (car just serviced)
To be fair to @SurreyJohn that might have been replaced in the last 7 years, but there should be a date stamp probably on your negative terminal, or the plastic cover on negative terminal. Either way he is spot about getting it changed now rather than later, you might be stranded on side of the road.

Wheel spacers
Maybe someone knows, but I've only ever seen J for the VAG wheels I have looked at. Try a little Google-Fu skills to research the choices of flange types, may as well turn today into a learning opportunity π

Multiple low voltage warnings on cold days yet starts no issue (car just serviced)
The warnings come when you're demanding more power than is stored in the battery, and what the alternator can supply. Your battery is original, as it has the QR code label and a VAG part number on it, my battery was the same as yours, Varta and 7 years old when I replaced mine. I was NOT getting any warnings, but I also knew it was getting tired and best to change before it was kaput.

kodiaq specs
Lazy barstewards. Anyhow, for 7 Euro you can get your build codes from erWin Skoda and also wiring diagrams/repair manuals/and lookup any TPI documents that might have recalls. Then you'll have torque values for bolts and any repairs needed you'll have instructions to hand. I would rather pay 7 Euro for all of that, than 3 for a build code sheet personally.

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
You will need to provide some system details, holding down your menu/setup button for about 10 seconds to enter engineering menu. Look for Software Train information and post back. Update to 0369 update is available, and will be sent.
