Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
The dealer attitude is always to NOT update a working system. Unless you walked in with a specific complaint, and they checked the TPI document and they got a match, they won't do a thing. Example "Bluetooth is unstable" and upon checking TPI, this is listed as a symptom. Anyhow, you have MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 Version 1440 Will be sent to you in a few moments

water pump shroud issue
https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/339-skoda-kodiaq/ Done a report to move the post, don't worry OP, this is not school report. I am shocked they want money to diagnose etc (though understand they need to remove things) Does this money get refunded!? Skoda UK might be the people to complain to about the issue.

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
We have a few King's helping here. Can you get into your engineering menu (press your Menu/Setup key for 10 seconds) and look for Software Train. Odds are I know what you have, but it also shows you where to update.

Warm Octavia struggling to start (mk3 2.0tdi150)
DSG gearbox might not be sensing the Park/Neutral/Reverse positions correctly and that will most likely cancel the engine start. A wiring breakdown that occurs when warm (fuses can expand and cracks appear with temperature changes) Have you got access to a fault code reader? If yes, what codes if any have been stored? There is a list on the forum of VCDS user's in map format that you might be able to contact if you don't have. And of course wait a few hours and more replies will come, "seen that before, it's xyz"

Skoda octavia scout 2012 - exhaust smell in car
The most obvious source of smell could be DPF, just you don't normally smell it inside the car. That usually leaves the fans spinning after you turn off the engine, so easy to notice.

As @BHughes has helped, you may also wish to try 2nd SD Card slot if you have got one, or have not tried it. Sometimes firmware updates don't load, swap to another slot and they do.

Skoda octavia scout 2012 - exhaust smell in car
Exhaust gasket, or something like that. Best just get it to a garage to get it in the air to check pipework.

Amundsen MIB2 Firmware Update
Just been sent, I may need you to reply with your Country if it does not download. Best of luck. p.s. the Android Auto might need a dealer/independant garage to enter an activation code to enable this, post a picture of message you get on the screen to show if possible (translate if needed please)

Skoda Fabia 1.0 TSI Colour Edition not starting
You may want to try and record a small video clip, or some audio of what you are experiencing. You also could purchase a cheap multimeter to check battery Voltage, it will be useful for several more car/house jobs. I would have been surprised if the coolant was frozen, that has very low temperature protection unless it was drained and filled with just water (unlikely) It sounds to me as if there is not enough energy getting to the starter motor, so that the motor is not engaging correctly with the flywheel. Have you checked the car's earth points are all ok? Several to choose from and could be why it refuses to start even with jump pack. You could also need a scan with the likes of VCDS to see if there is some big issue with a control module, list in the forum is available.
