  1. Any changes here? Odds are they reflashed is all. Still, hopefully it'll keep working now.
  2. Sadly, the worst part is the turbo will be say £1,000 for example. And the turbo could be brought yourself for £450, that 10% off is a joke. Values are examples, don't quote that at them.
  3. I think you may now be a little stuck now the work has been done, it's a pity you didn't post before giving the go ahead. I am shocked they say it has corroded, unless you park next to the sea with the bonnet open, I find it hard to swallow that bs myself. Carbon build up internally can foul up the turbo, seizing the vane inside that directs the flow onto the turbo.
  4. I agree with @StevesTruck that sounds as legit as a nine bob note.
  5. Mine have LED front and rear already for that reason, so recommend anyone swapping out the dingy yellow bulbs if possible. The amount of heat the normal bulbs produce is insane.
  6. Get a picture of your exiting, or better still take it out and look for the part number on it. In the above example for my car, found it on fleabay for £42.50
  7. You may want to sit down for this...
  8. I need to verify when near PC, but 320 was released 15th November 2022. If rolled out OTA, might be a while as they probably release in batches. EDIT: Glad I checked, the 320 release can only be applied if you have 308 installed as seen below in SupportedTrains "Release": "MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P32000P", "MuVersion": "0320", "SupportedTrains": ["*_?308*", "*_?310*", "*_?312*", "*_?314*", "*_?316*", "*_?318*", "*_?320*"]
  9. Dealer's would charge for flashing, if they even do it (independent workshops are probably more willing) The service campaign 34H7 might apply, but not with your symptoms.
  10. These are available for the gearbox But you won't be able to do this with VCDS, needs other tools/software. Not saying again this applies to you, but there is a Service campaign 34H7 that is about to run out this year, TPI 2047188 It does list the gearbox you have, but you will need to ring a Skoda dealer to get them to check your VIN. 2047188.1 34H7 Replace 6 speed DSG gearbox.pdf
  11. Not saying it is this... But please check.
  12. I can send 0480, and some destructions with it.
  13. It will be some form of online connection, but I don't use, so not sure how you will fix.
  14. When you complete the flash process, it would have asked you if you wish to connect a diagnostic session. Because you don't have the dealer software, you have to press No/Cancel, so the car stores this Software Version Management code, simply because it was not able to talk to the 'mothership' and get the required handshake it needed. You can fix this with VCDS offline, and read a challenge value, perform a calculation, and then input this. Afterwards you can clear the fault. SVM Clearing This doesn't affect the operation.
  15. You will want to press the menu/setup button for about 10 seconds to get the software train inside the engineering menu.
  16. From erWin a list of spec and maker's. oil_pdf.zip
  17. Here is a document I found in my TPI collection AdBlue Reset issues after re-filling (Yeti and Superb).pdf Ignore the Yeti/Superb, as this applies to ANY AdBlue car (it also exists word for word for VW, minus a car model) tl;dr They may have overfilled your AdBlue tank, and now the car is going mad, if it's not this, then there are many Software updates for Engine ECU before they condemn the sensor. They probably only needed to add a max of 10 litres, if the tank was 'dry' Technical data ♦ The reduction agent (AdBlue®) is stored in a separate tank in the vehicle. It is NOT mixed in with the diesel fuel. ♦ To fill the reduction agent (AdBlue®) use an approved container from the ⇒ Electronic Catalogue of Original Parts. ♦ The reduction agent tank has a volume of approx. 12 litres. EDIT: Just to be clear, if they say the sensor is kaput, then they should hopefully fix this themselves.
  18. It looks like Batman and the Energiser bunny had a baby.
  19. Welcome 🤝 There are a few issues/glitches with the AdBlue systems, then again also trouble with petrol cars also, all technology can fail. My daugher has an AdBlue car, and apart from adding it when needed, it just works. You could have this fixed under warranty by them, and then get years of trouble free motoring. It could also be a disaster waiting to happen. Bottom line is you have to use your gut and decide which to go with yourself, without any diagnostic logs of any stored fault codes we cannot help too much.
  20. I left all the settings alone, it should check version in the car, and then compare version available in update.... and then it chooses Y/N as needed. So to also make things safe, leave all values alone (as default)
  21. It may not be this fault, you need to read and decide. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/505730-weird-error-message-only-leave-vehicle-in-position-p/?do=findComment&comment=5683796 Best of luck with whatever you decide now, and reach out to the forum if you need more information/help.
  22. Well I cannot state how to do it exactly on the tool you have, but usually you will need to enter the dashboard and adjust time/mileage to next service. You may also need to reset it, if it was set to 1year fixed, but try to adjust the time value first. Example if you have 27 days left to the service, then try to add 365 to that, if that value is not accepted, add 180 days to it.
  23. What was last year's service? Did they use Long Life oil, and then clearly set you to 1yr fixed? You may want to did out last year's receipt and check, also not sure if you want to just skip the message/service if you wish to sell the car, someone will pickup the gap.
  24. Might be an idea to locate someone local with VCDS for a scan of the car, it will be cheaper than visting there. Other would be to login to erWin Skoda for an hour (about £7.49) and download all your repair/wiring diagrams, your build codes, and most importantly to look over the online workshop information. If you can view the online system yourself, you can look through what is historically called the "Red Book" and there is a massive list of TPI documents where they may list gearbox/engine known issues. Tip: If you do, make sure you have available a PDF printer, so you can print/save the information to PDF files for when your hour expires. Ask if you have more questions.
