DPF is Diesel Particulate Filter. So if you are petrol, it won't apply.

You don't understand me, the radio currently has a permanent live power yes? It must do as the power keeps coming without a key. So you need to locate a wire that only has power when key is in and turned, and use that to power the radio. No key, no power to radio, no drain right.

Check your car manual, it will most likely be DPF clogged up. Please also respond with mileage of the car, every little information helps. You could also find someone on the map to bypass expensive dealer visit and get a VCDS scan for some beer tokens.

The error message means you need to program in a workshop code and importer. The program is offering if you wish to use a default like 123, and 12345 for importer and workshop ID (examples) So you should press YES to accept, or you can delve into program settings to adjust and write own value's.

What tool are you using, VCDS I presume? Can you print screen and send picture here? EDIT: The drop down list should be populated, typing in 'battery' is designed to shorten the long list of adaption channels.

Hopefully someone that knows the law better can suggest what protection you might have.

Not sure what Country you're from, but that two week warranty might not be accurate under some laws.

There will be a radio update from 0367 to 0369, but I doubt that would fix the issue. Odds are the fault lies elsewhere, what diagnostic scanner do you have available? Try as requested to get image of what you get when selecting reverse.

Thanks I wished to double check. Maybe you need to locate a positive power feed, that is only live when the ignition is on, and feed that to the radio, with fuse of course? So key out, radio looses power immediately.

Seems the radio is broken in some way, where it seems to pull power when it shouldn't. Fuse removed for radio, and battery drain hits zero (or close enough to) Is that correct?

Welcome to the forum, There is 0253 available, but let me curb your expectactions, this will not turn on features. They are done by SWaP/FEC codes, where they enable features already "baked" into the firmware you already have. To enable, you have to pay for the feature at a dealer/independant garage. There exists a free way also, but you need to enable what is called "Developer Menu" and you need to use a tool like VCDS or similar to do this. Let me know if you still want the update file.

Yes currently there is no 308 that I have seen. It could be due to a hardware change in factory that they stopped at 306 for your unit. I will keep an eye open, but feel free to check back in one month, but no promises anything comes down the pipeline.

The 320 version will only apply if existing is 308, see above post under SupportedTrains. So there is no way to perform update, it's blocked.
