  1. That would make urs a mk2.5 Superb, not a mk3, which is this part of the forum. Nonetheless, road noise is problem with our ozzy roads. I've put sound deadening in the boot well and wheel arches. Made some difference. My next move is to change from the factory 235/40/19 to 245/40/19 tyres. This will give it more rubber and a slightly taller side wall profile.
  2. I purchased an item last week, during their 20% off sale. They emailed me the next day with a clarification on my shipping address, and the goods were dispatched a day after that.
  3. Unfortunately it is not with the MK3. Apart from the first few initial batches of MY15, the rest get the rain sensor that does not support rain closing feature. Coding will have no effect.
  4. i've read some discussions in the Kodiaq forums, and they've tapped into the rear blind-spot radar modules for access to the CANBUS High connection, and powered from the boot 12V power. that's my plan, instead of having to tap into the CANBUS up front, and running it all the way back.
  5. +1, i haven't done it yet, but its on my retrofits to-do list. the bit that i'm hesitant on is removing the rear bumper to get access to the CANBUS in order to connect the TPMS module. the front bumper is a lot easier to remove. the rear has more bracket & clips - me no likey. but, one day......
  6. Indirect works by measuring the tyres rotational speed using the ABS sensors in each wheel. Hence if one particular tyre is losing air faster than the others, i.e. a slow puncture, then that tyre will rotate at a different speed, which the sensors will pick up, and warn u via the TPMS. U want actual values, u'll need to retrofit direct TPMS. The factory OEM ones r not an easy install. Alternatively, u can fit aftermarket tyre pressure sensors, and connect to an app on ur mobile via Bluetooth. They give u the actual tyre pressure reading, which u can monitor.
  7. Indirect TPMS uses relative measurement to the other tyres. So if any tyre is different to the other by approx. 4 psi or more, it will warn u. If all 4 drop pressure around the same, then it won't warn u. It doesn't remember a "value" u started with. Hence it's good practice to check the pressures once a month.
  8. It's the infotainment unit. MIB2 = original one, from MY15 on, with buttons. MIB2.5 = from MY18 onwards, no buttons, flat face n larger 9.2" screen. MIB3 = from MY21 onwards, new features, larger screen, always connected, wireless capable, plus more.
  9. once android auto 11 is out, and provided u have an MIB3 infotainment unit - then yes to wireless android auto.
  10. Ah I c I c. I'm pretty sure that the electrics, and hence coding/adaptations/channels have changed with the FL Superb. Hence the same coding for the pre-FL won't necessarily align/work for the FL.
  11. I don't know about the FL, but with the pre-FL, the eyelashes coding only works if u have the Smart Light Assist (SLA) version of headlights. Part number ends in "B". The pre-FL came with two Bi-xenon versions:- 1. bi-xenon non-SLA (version A) 2. bi-xenon SLA (version B.)
  12. the vehicle service record system is an entire different thing and both vcds and obdeleven don't go anywhere near it. the only thing u can do in relation is reset the service reminder/indicator.
  13. No need to b sorry - we have forums like this so u can ask questions 🙂 u can do the above code changes using either VCDS (vcds cable + laptop with vcds software or OBDEleven (dongle + mobile app).
  14. Did u actually change the graphics here?
  15. After a long AliExpress wait, the lower engine cover finally arrived. Fitment was easy n it's sturdy 👍
  16. Very nicely done - I like it very much 🙂
  17. I used a fuse piggy back and hooked up the dashcam to the rear wiper slot. It's powered with ignition only.
  18. good work/effort - they look good, though it would b better if it were finished with the centre/boot chrome stripe too 🙂 tis a shame that it's not straight forward plug-n-play fitment. 😞
  19. sorry to hear that, and apologies for giving u false hope 😞
  20. Certainly no issues with the presence of the sub being felt despite being in the boot. It channels the punchiness through the chasis. Very effective. Plus I reckon with the hatch design, it can utilise the enclosed boot volume for added depth.
  21. Mine is lowered 25mm, with DCC. The radar was not affected, nor was the A5 camera. The parking sensors r a little bit more sensitive now to high kerbs, but it's not annoying or an issue. If ur lowering by 35mm or more, u'll need to get the ACC radar & A5 camera recalibrated with specialist equipment.......ideally.
  22. @john999boy - we don't get the L&K here in Oz. I've just copied the side & front trims of the L&K, and i copied the rear trim of the facelift. I'm not a fan of the L&K badges either. I've got Superb badges on the fender wings. I've got Superb lettering spaced out on the boot, instead of the Skoda lettering. So yeah, my Gandalf is a freakish mix of different things. 😁 I don't want to do the L&K badge injustice 😉
