  1. +1 Looks good otherwise.
  2. When I push the ACC stalk forward to turn it off, I get the message in the cluster saying "ACC and Front Assist no longer available"
  3. Thanks @Luei The footrest & pedals r holding up well. Very solid. Not slippery at all. Installation of the footrest was straight forward, with no modification required. Fitting the rubber over the accelerator pedal was a pain in the royals!!
  4. Ah, my apologies. This is not the usual TPMS Warning message. Ignore me......
  5. the amp with my Canton system is 81A 035 223 (H10) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Address 47: Sound System (J525) Labels: None Part No SW: 81A 035 223 HW: 81A 035 223 Component: MIB2_amp_P_SK H10 0410 Revision: 00000001 Serial number: SKZ8Z1HJE01EWLU Coding: 0384010000AA002FAA0000000000 Shop #: WSC 33361 790 00141 ASAM Dataset: EV_AMPMst16C5Gen2ALPI 001001 ROD: EV_AMPMst16C5Gen2ALPI.rod VCID: 59B80418587A728A9B-800C No fault code found. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6. R u pressing the tyre "set" button until it boings? The indirect TPMS uses the ABS sensors to determine the wheel's rotational speed. U don't need VCDS or ObdEleven11 to clear any TPMS warnings, unless u have direct TPMS.
  7. Here u go..... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Pair-H11-6000LM-Led-Headlight-Kit-High-Low-Beam-Vehicle-Replace-Halogen-Xenon-/233437637912?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292
  8. It appears u can fold the front seat forwards, a better option then trying to fold it back. ..... but it's a non-Sportline.
  9. So u want to do this on a non-RS Superb........
  10. last year i put the Rieger side-skirts on mine. Really good quality and fit. very easy to install too.
  11. No, that won't affect the seal towards the inside cabin. When u open the door, u'll notice a thicker rubber seal further in. I use roof racks occasionally. The only wind noise u get is from the actual roof rack bars.
  12. @newbie69 also b careful of fog bulbs with "big butts" as they won't fit in the space behind, especially if u have a 272/280 Superb, as it will hit the radiator located there. I got the Lumileds bulbs in mine - been 2 yrs n still happy with it. They have an adjustable base so u can ensure optimum throw in line with the fog light reflector shield inside. Also, ideally u don't want light throwing out of the top of the bulb as it will scatter the fog light beam, and **** off oncoming drivers. U can see the original one has a "cap". The LED version I got doesn't have light emitting from the top, just the sides.
  13. even with a rear facing child seat in place, there is still plenty of space between the end of it and the back of the front seat. u could easily "fit" a full sized adult in that gap!!
  14. because i've had APR before (Stg 2+ on my previous Octavia RS) and i've been really happy with it. plus i got the Stage 1 at 15% off, on top of the permanently dropped 30% new pricing. so effectively 45% off
  15. Nope, not need for a Stage 1 tune. I will b getting a TCU tune later in the year, so it's (the DSG transmission) more "comfortable". I had a Stage 2+ ECU and TCU tune on my previous mk2 Octavia RS, nothing beefed up, with no issues for 6 yrs.
  16. yesterday i "accepted" to APR's terms and conditions!!! Stage 1 High Torque ECU tune. boy oh boy!! i forgot how much fun a tune can be!! car has transformed nicely. tuner guy was saying the 4th gear 80-120km/h test dropped from 5+ secs to 3 secs!! in theory, its now doing 320 hp (240 kW), 381 ft-lbs (510 Nm). happy as can be
  17. retrofitting a BSM system is quite complex, involves lots of wiring, and has many components. with regards to a full spec list for ur vehicle, get urself a Skoda erWin subscription for 24hrs, and get an 8 pg (or so) report for every PR code used to build ur specific car (based on ur VIN). "7Y9 - Blind spot monitor plus lane keeping system" is what u'd b looking for in ur build/spec sheet.
  18. the process is very simple!! https://updateportal.skoda-auto.com/
  19. No way I would've known. The TPMS alerted me, saying the pressure on the right rear was down to 23 psi. An indirect TPMS would've alerted me too, but just won't tell me how bad.
  20. we've (east coast of aus) had about 3-4 days straight of high 30s, with a day or two above 40 - so i'm familiar with "hot". when its that hot, setting to AUTO 20-21 is more than adequate. otherwise i leave it on AUTO 22 all year round either way - its ur car, ur comfort, so a chilli 16 degrees it is
  21. It's the same for me - listening to Spotify via the car's Android Auto is much louder than listening to Spotify on the phone via Bluetooth. I've played around with the settings, no improvement.
  22. I drive past a commercial building site on my way to work everyday - so I'm pretty sure where I'm getting my share of screws!!!
  23. The Superb already comes with a Qi Wireless Charger in the phonebox.
  24. For the 4th time, since getting the car brand new 3.5 yrs ago, I've had to put on the spare tyre!!! Yup, I got screwed....again!!!
  25. 16 degrees!!! Eesshhhh.
