Nav map on Virtual cockpit display
Hey @newbie69, as far as I know, the VC requires a fibre optic cable in order to show maps/navigation. This connection is only available on the MIB2.5 units, i.e. the 9.2" Columbus units. This is based on those who have successfully retrofitted VC units into their Superb.

Thanks 🙂 I've got 15mm hub-centric spacers front & rear. Been more than 1.5 yrs with no issues. Still have 2 factory fitted tyres. The other 2 had to b replaced thanks to screws on the road.

The Chrome treatments r completed 😊 The front bumper now has matching trim with the sides n rear tail lights. I also used black vinyl to blacken the chrome bit on the lower grille. Looks like the factory L&K trim now. Saved myself almost a grand had I sourced the original Chrome trim bits. Pleased with the results 👍

To Canton or not to Canton - that is the question?
The Canton is tuned and setup far superior & better in the Superb. It has additional speakers/drivers and a higher powered amplifier. It doesn't sound as good in other models such as the Octavia, Karoq, Kodaiq etc etc.

Smart Light Assist - Experiences?
The Octavia does not, never had, Smart Light Assist. It's only featured on the mk3 Superb. U referring to Light Assist possibly.

New FL Skoda Superb 2020 tail lights - retrofit?
oh no, that is bad news @ssavi 😞 sorry to hear that. in ur pics, which one is old & which one is new? hope u can sort out the wiring+connectors. i ended up abandoning the idea of the sourcing the face-lift lights, for now, given its cost & availability in Oz. so for the time being, I improvised with the chrome strip across the rear.

Driving slight uphill 100km/h - ACC loosing speed
Changing the drive modes changes the ACC reaction times. If ur seeing no difference in ur ACC reaction times, then I'd say something is up. In Comfort mode, ACC is lazy. It's too cautious, takes its time. In Normal mode, it's normal. In Sport mode, it's quicker, n doesn't waste time. In Individual mode, u can choose the setting.

Driving slight uphill 100km/h - ACC loosing speed
R u driving in Comfort mode? I've done plenty of motorway driving at 110km/h and the ACC is fine at maintaining speed, even when the road gets hilly. But I've noticed in Comfort mode, it will take its sweet time to realise its lost momentum at the start of the hill, before finally reaching the set speed again. No such issues in Normal or Individual modes. Mine is a 220 with the DSG-6.

Thats a nice & super rare colour on the Superb!!!

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Given the difficulty of sourcing the facelift tail lights, and the astronomical prices to get a set landed in here in Oz, I improvised n did my own Chrome stripe across the back of the car. It's subtle, n sits perfectly on the lip without interfering with the light stripes, nor the RVC. I also did the same with the lower door trims, as I've seen on Sportline (black) and some L&K (chrome) models.

given the chrome trim on the grille and window frames, plus the side fender badge - i'd say it's not a Sportline. much like mine, non-Sportline, but with a Sportline rear diffusor retrofitted. though i could b wrong, and he really has a Sportline n has Chrome'ed it up. i like wat u've done @T-800 looks nice 🙂

ACC and Cruise Control
disable (using vcds or obdeleven) the "under-taking feature" and the car will ignore traffic in adjacent lanes, and hence won't slow u down uncessarily. also, change the distance/gap to "short".

MOT
It means ur shock absorbers r leaking n will need to b replaced. Not cheap if they're DCC shocks....

How to get those lights work
From factory, SLA whiskers r active only when the low beams r on, as u said. But u can however change this via coding so it's on with the DRLs, which is wat I've done. Like the DRLs, the whiskers will also dim when the low beams r turned on. Anyone with SLA headlights can use VCDS/OBDEleven to code this in. I do country road driving often enough, hence the SLA is a great aid. ....n trust me, u don't want to b hitting a kangaroo or wombat at 110 km/h. So the SLA masking does a great job keeping the road sides lit up without dazzling the car I'm following or any oncoming cars.

How to get those lights work
The 7 little decorative lines was the "bonus" bit - the whole point of the retrofit was to get Smart Light Assist function, which was never an option for the Oz bound Superbs.
-
How to get those lights work
Hahaha....if ur prepared to open up the headlights!! They're sealed units which can't b opened unless u bake the things in an oven to soften the glue, and then pry the thing apart, before u can get access to the base of those LED whiskers. But sure.....its worth a go if one is desperate.

Fit switch next to gear lever
I'm keen on doing this too, but in my case to operate my garage door opener. A number of Golf owners have done this by buying a additional button to use in a blank spot, and then wire up the garage remote to it. I've removed the existing switch panel to see how it all hangs, and it appears they share the same "backbone" to interface with the car. So adding another button to the existing loom will b tricky. However adding another button, wired up separately might b possible.

Driving mode not remembered when engine switched off
Actually u can 😜 That's wat we'll b getting here in Oz from the 3rd Qtr this year - the new facelift with the 220 and 280 engines carried over. The only facelift Superb we have available now in Oz is the Scout, sporting the WLTP engine. We're only getting 300 of these. The rest of the Superb facelift range will reach our shores end of this year, but with old engines. This because of the crappy fuel we get here.

Android Auto not accepting Spotify Premium
U get the audio controls within the map view screen of Waze. Useful when using Waze on ur phone. Not so on Android Auto as it offers audio controls across the bottom.

Android Auto not accepting Spotify Premium
As long as u've linked ur spotify account within the Waze app settings, it makes no difference. I have both Waze and Spotify running with different account credentials on my phone. Android Auto doesn't care.
