Service intervals
Good lookin car mate, certainly hiding the mileage well. As others have said, check invoices, dealer should be able to provide proof of what they have carried out. Also loving the E39 in the background 😎

Opinions on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5's on VRS
As above Asymmetric 5's. I though the 19's where cheap - just priced up the 18's you've mentioned 😲

Opinions on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5's on VRS
Thanks all, I'm inpatient so have ordered them now 😆 For anyone interested that is a Costco member, they have these for a fantastic price - 4 fitted for £397.56 & I didn't want to miss out 😲 Worth a gamble as I have 2 original Pirellis on the rear which are now showing signs of cracks and 2 mid-range tyres on the front

Opinions on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5's on VRS
I've got MP4s on my other car and they are fantastic but are a bit overkill for MY needs on this.

Opinions on Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5's on VRS
Hi all, as above - I need to change my tyres and these have come up at a good price on a 235/35 R19 fitment (OEM is 225/35). Car is a family car, which I abuse occasionally but not that often. I'm after opinions on overall wet & dry grip, noise and longevity. I've obviously checked the usual review sites but wondering what you folks have to say. Any feedback appreciated

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Think there is some confusion going on here. As mentioned, the cheap plug and play as used in my guides supports dynamic lines

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Thanks, worth pointing out - i'll see if I can update the original post. I think due to my cable placement I didn't encounter this but worth being on the safe side

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Good work all - there should be a camera for each size handle so it's just a case of measuring and finding the right one

Returning car on finance
Used car prices are at an all time high so this could be a good time to get out of finance. As has been mentioned, get a settlement figure and one from WBAC. Do you need to change to a different vehicle or just dispose of this one?

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Great to see so many people having a go at this and finding my guide useful - i'm sure most of you will agree that it is a fairly straight forward process if approached logically and step-by-step. Thanks to all those that have added additional info and answered questions. If you're still thinking of doing this - go for it!

Reversing Camera Retrofit
This camera should be plug and play. Chances are the previous owner has coded something which has interfered with it

Finding a decent Mkiii Octavia
Just to add, I work in the fleet industry and most company cars aren't ragged. Reason is as a driver you get it out of your system quickly and most people are also paying for their own fuel. It's a business tool, not a weekend sports car. Not all fit that mold but most do. They generally have a bit more cosmetic damage (used more, parked in different places more) but most of that is rectified before auction

Are used prices really THAT strong?
It's happening all over, especially in the sports car market. There are huge supply issues on new cars and this has caused the used market to surge. It won't last forever but things aren't going to get back to normal this year

VRS 245 not exciting. Keep or change
Depends what you want from the car, it's a great day to day car, but it's not a performance car. You can remap it easily without warranty worries, that will definitely make it more exciting. If you don't need something so big then sell and get something different, fast coupe maybe? Mine is my daily, I've got an E46 M3 for thrills.

Where best to buy a used Vrs Estate
Don't forget the dealer will do any required maintenance in XXX miles as well. I got 2 years warranty, 2 services & 2 years MOT cover FOC with mine (+ 2 new tyres & brake fluid service)

Where best to buy a used Vrs Estate
Just had a look for you, this one is on there (no pics) Skoda approved

Where best to buy a used Vrs Estate
Always worth a look on the Skoda approved website as new cars often appear there first and not all make it to AT etc. Found my car in there as a 'coming soon' so bought it before it made it to market. It is also worth noting that used prices are high right now due to the waiting time for new cars (across all brands) caused by the chip shortage

Spare wheel or not that is the question
Spare wheel always! Went to the Isle of Wight with the family 3 years ago in a brand new, month old Karoq Sportline. Picked up a puncture within 10 mins of arriving. It was bank holiday weekend, no tyres in my size on the island - would be 4 days before they could get one. Thank god I optioned the spare wheel!

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Great, thought it would be the connectors - those large ones can be tricky to clamp shut. Glad it's all working
-
How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
There's no right or wrong answer here, it just seemed easier to me to route through the headlining and get to the gasket and loom point leading to the boot
-
How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
I agree, I went from a 69 plate Karoq sportline to Octy VRS, headunit, media unit etc all the same. It's also a small price to pay if for any reason it doesn't work

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Thanks. No, the harness should be plug & play. I would reconnect and ensure you have a solid connection between the headunit to piggyback harness, and piggyback harness to old harness. It only fit one way around

I’ve only gone and done it!
Welcome mate. Spare wheel is an option, and s good one to have. You get the tyre gunk and an inflator otherwise. Android auto - if you want the screen on for the Mac then AFAIK that means no Bluetooth as you have to select the Media option for that

How To - Reverse Camera Fitting Guide
Have you checked all cable connections (bit of a pain I know). If the connections are all good chances are it's the look. Check the connector block is firmly engaged in the media unit - I'd be tempted to unplug and plug it back in

Nice install. I'm not familiar with the above, do you know what it is telling you is missing? I haven't scanned my car but after a few months I have no I'll affects
