Same here. I remember reading that if the blower vent is pointing at the windscreen position it can cause this. I keep forgetting to set it to the footwells when I park up for the night. Might be the cause though...

That's a shame. The Peugeot owners club that I came from had a login to Peugeot's 'Servicebox'. If Freedom members on here had access to the Skoda equivalent then I'd pay for the membership.

What is supposed to be here? My engine cover was loose & rattling, so I've temporarily removed it. What is the part I need? Also, where can I get part numbers, diagrams & costs without ringing up a dealer. Thanks

I thought that my vRS didn't have one... My girlfriend was waiting in the car, I locked it out of habit then quickly unlocked it. Came back 5 mins later to a very embarrased girlfriend

Out of interest, if the timing belt had slipped would it put up a fault code? (Happend to my previous car & I had similar symptoms, I'm new to VAG cars)

Mine has a 25mm drop & still looks a bit high IMO. Ride quality is great though.

I have a K&N Apollo 'kit on my vRS. Doesn't sound like they do on petrol cars, just a nice deep growl when you give it some

The leather seems to have cracked up a little in just one area and feels uncomfortable to the touch. I've treated it with Meguiars leather cleaner & conditioner but within a day or 2 its back to how it was.

I didn't wash my silver vRS for a month & I still looked pretty clean. Sounds as though yours is smoking a lot. On another note, I had the dog in the boot this morning, it now smells & is filthy (the boot that is) :(

I'd hope not only being 21 I'm pretty sure all the trim is ok, but I'll double check. Also to save posting another topic, the leather steering wheel is starting to wear, feels a bit rough in places & bits are almost flaking off. I've treated it a few times with Meguiars leather conditioner but within a few days its back to how it was.

I'm just about to turn 21, 2 years NCB & my accident just came off my licence. Paying £940 fully comp with all the extras eg courtesy car etc
