July 2019 Karoq 1.5 SEL DSG - DSG very occasional whirring/whine in 1st
Now that your whine is hopefully getting sorted, maybe, as the vehicle is not very old, worth looking into the oil loss / usage...... Seems a lot going by your description, and that the selling dealer topped it up in march, and you saying it was at minimum mark and you have had to put more in a few months later, possibly must be very little used during lock-down too, no? Just a thought.

New Cyclops road junction!
Even if they build a dedicated lane for each and every turn-off, people in the wrong lane would still puck it up....... A flyover, for each and every turn-off / exit could work, Lol................... until the person realising they've still got the wrong lane just stops dead, wondering how they can get across, and then starts reversing, Lel. (laughs even louder).

Towing caravan advice please
^^^ but that sounds more like a clutch problem rather than a petrol / diesel / bhp issue.......... Granted, a bigger and more torquey engine will have a better clutch, but I would hope a Kodiaq would perhaps have a better clutch(s) than a Kia Sportage.... Ahh..........I note you have the 7 seater, so not sure why it only applies specifically to the 7 seat / 4WD version............

Towing caravan advice please
No, but personally I would check with Skoda that it does not affect the warranty of the vehicle in any way, that is all............someone on here will probably know the answer
-
Towing caravan advice please
I'm assuming if you haven't already got the tow-bar fitted, you will have this fitted by Skoda, for the sake of any arguements regarding your 2019 car's warranty, should any issues arise.

Towing caravan advice please
The only difference that I can see for the very similar car Re towing / not for towing, is the extra two seats in the 4WD version............ I'm assuming it must be to do with expected weight inside the vehicle or a different floor-pan due to the extra seating...??? Obviously power and torque values are going to have an effect on the car and how it pulls, but there is no reason you should have any issues if your vehicle is sound and you drive within it's limitations...............

Coolant Warning
Doesn't a 2 year old car have a warranty?

PX valuations - a rant
Yes, you've reminded me, a few of these type 'online local trade bids for your car' sites popped up very shortly after I used WBAC. I remain convinced I would have gotten even more money that way as the car was so clean it would have gone straight on the forecourt, but hey ho, cars cost heaps anyway. Years ago I was offered £1700 for my 2.0L Accord..............No way were they having it for that so I borrowed £1000 to purchase the Civic SRi Vtec that I wanted at around £5k iirc and I kept the Accord. Sold within a week or two for £2300 to a very happy customer, who brought his family along for a test drive. £100 interest to the loan company and £500 in my pocket, thank you very much, Lookers Honda.........Actually probably Chatsworth Honda at the time.

Manual gearbox changing on its own when accelerating
I think I am overlooking something (or covid driving me mad) but if the car accelerates normally, is it not computer related rather than clutch slip???? Clutch slip should be easy to detect.

PX valuations - a rant
WBAC valuations............depends on the state of your car, and how honest you have been. If you have a car that really is A1 then you will get very near the valuation, well, so long as you are not a walkover. But they will pick at the service history, tyre condition etc etc......... And beware the valuer (visitor to your house) giving you his own valuation..............I'm convinced they will get a further commission if the final agreed price is lower than the one he gets given from WBAC over the phone. If I sold another one to them, I will ask to speak to the person on the phone, rather than get the price from the guy on the driveway. IIRC they only knocked a hundred quid or so off of the original online valuation, but my car really was A1 and low mileage / good & matching tyres.. Service history let it down a little, that was all.

Manual gearbox changing on its own when accelerating
On a mk2 Octy tho???????? L&K by any chance??????or wrong sub forum??? Silly Topic title, either way...........

Manual gearbox changing on its own when accelerating
Maybe the computer is telling you what gear you should be in................. I never knew a manual had a digital indicator of what gear the car / gearbox was in

Door drain point
They must be a little different on my Mk2, looking at Mickvrs's post. Mine are underneath, clear of the seals. ie, you don't need to pull the seals away to poke the holes. So Skoda decided to put the drain holes for the door behind the door seals on the Mk3, therefore blocking them. If this is the case............Simply Clever.

Door drain point
There are drain points and if you have water in the door then one would assume they are blocked, so yes.
