  1. Obviously need feedback from the op. Why was the battery replaced in the first instance??? If you don't know or they didn't explain, ask them.
  2. Cleaned it through the bulb hole Mick. (no euphemism, Lol) As the units are so easily removable from the car, quite easy really. Just a thick stick (even back end of a pencil) with a few pieces of soft cloth wrapped around it. Worth doing. The reflectors would be considerably more difficult but mine looked clean.... but yes, logically they must have some crap on if the lenses have. I will have to look up proctological, Lol.
  3. You could find the insides of the lenses quite dirty too, Micky. This is a picture of mine with a torch shining through it from the inside before cleaning, just touched inside to show how dirty it was.
  4. Ended up buying a Wilko one....... Still a tenner though, for an Apple approved one. That's life I suppose, Lol. https://www.wilko.com/en-uk/wilko-1m-rose-gold-lightning-cable-mfi/p/0460120 Probably no different to the non approved one though...
  5. Reminds me of an old tv program.................. 'Wish you were here'.........Lol. Jealous.
  6. I will look see if the ones I've got are still in my 'purchased' list, but I sure they aren't. Bought ages ago.
  7. Bit of crap caught in / under it maybe????
  8. @GazzaCarlin I've got the same design as them in my sidelights without issues... Didn't realise they fit the number-plate, I will have to try them. I've been very lucky with my selection of led lighting as they can be hit and miss depending on the honesty of the seller or / and manufacturer.
  9. 12 volt........... Got one of them. Just the one.
  10. I've tried telling them, Lol............ Seriously. They actually run at 3.6 watts. I agree with what @skomaz says, but they do advertise them as spots, and 45 to 60 degree beam angle. (cannot remember how to do a degree symbol), apart from the colour consistency which is excellent, certainly in the neutral white ones i purchased. Brilliant above the dining table.
  11. I think these look the bees.............. Also available as MR10, E14 etc etc...
  12. When folk mention expensive / cheap, what prices are they talking about, per bulb say???
  13. As above. Probably why the leads are not long enough to reach the bulkhead...... Not necessary.
  14. Cheers @PetrolDave. Are the cheapo ones fine with your iphone??? This the one i am looking at, though it may go silly money yet... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apple-Ipod-USB-Power-Adapter-With-USB-Lightning-Cable-Apple-SD-Card-Reader/383692005970?hash=item5955d36252%3Ag%3AbG0AAOSwLHhfRY4w&LH_ItemCondition=3000
  15. Anyone know if an ipod charging cable is the same / or will charge an iphone 5s??? A spare phone is on it's way but no charge cable included and genuine Apple lightning cables are not cheap. Cheers
  16. Hopefully better components than the crap that was fitted in the first place then... As it is a service recommendation I would take it elsewhere I think.
  17. I would be wanting a corroded item at only 18 months old being replaced under warranty.... Corrosion being quite different to wear and tear.
  18. I've bought lots off of the Bay for trial purposes with good results. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/R7s-J118-10W-SMD-LED-Flood-Light-Bulb-Replacement-for-Halogen-Linear-Tubes-118mm/401586773481?var=671325506104 Excellent floodlight replacements. Lovely natural 5000k colour. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dimmable-LED-Spotlight-Bulbs-GU10-MR16-E27-E14-9W-12W-15W-220V-240V-Spot-Lamps/392475910273?var=661469373571 Been very pleased with these so far reliable. Really like the MR16's and E14's that i purchased. lovely natural colour 4000-4500k https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/E27-E14-B22-B15-LED-SMD-Bulbs-Globe-Lights-ES-3W-5W-7W-9W-12W-15W-20W-Spot-Lamps/372247148218?var=641091643631 Happy with these too. reliable seller. Had one or two give up but i do experiment with them. Built my own kitchen under-cab lighting with them. Just the noted wattage's are roughly half of what is advertised on these particular bulbs. I prefer the natural white around 4000-5000k but the colour of the cool white 6000-6500k ones is not bad, bit like moonlight white. Trying to dim led's is known to be a bit of a lottery I believe, generally requiring specific led dimmers that are suited to the low wattage's of led bulbs.
  19. @SurreySlowCoach You say your policy must automatically cease............ I do not see why this would be the case if you have paid a full annual premium. I could easily be incorrect though as I am only going on my logic but I would expect it to cease only once the policy end date arrived. The fact of the ownership of the car passing to a named driver partner could throw a spanner in the works of this way of thinking though...
  20. Probably not from any of us in the UUk.
  21. @Mikexsr.Who did the diagnostics??? Have you tried simply resetting the warning light??
  22. @JKW What were the questions that you asked, with conflicting answers??? Maybe folk on here may have the answers???
  23. @KingAlfred is there nothing in the manual mentioning this???
