  1. It’s 100% genuine. The one I’ve got is not lhd or rhd as far as I know. It’s not shaped. Genuine rs ones ain’t cheap btw.
  2. I’d expect low 8s tbh depending on wind direction 😀 switch draggy to metic in setting. That will give 100-200kph
  3. lol just found out why I've not heard from you. good luck on the build. you should go to unicorn to sort that map!
  4. i think you might get stuff from the leon curpa 280 also. I think early cupras used manual hand brakes.
  5. superchips are a big company. The do alot of r and d. Its not out of the realms of possibilty the fault was there before and its just highlighted it. and as you've said the code reader is really basic. only vcds will help.
  6. the install guide for the mk7 golf is the same
  7. no still got it. tbh ive not been trying hard lol. thinking about putting a lsd in it now. hmm
  8. Not a sure off the top of my head. There’s loads of them on eBay. Paid around 130 quid for mine. It’s also the alcantara version.
  9. Don’t think so. You’d need to essentially brake the knob part to get it out.
  10. No harm in fitting just a cooler, but to get a stage two map, most mappers require a cooler and sport cat/de cat. Otherwise it ain’t really stage 2 realistically peak power doesn’t go up a huge amount but that’s not the whole story. It will flow better across the range and power/torque will be up across it.
  11. It’s the same function as before. that red pin/stick holds it in place. You remove it. Slot the gear knob on, then press the button , which engages it. If you press the button before all that, it messes up and you have to reset it, which is a right pain in the ass.
  12. then stage two it lol. just a cat and intake away or stick a is38 on it like I did. it is great fun, but then starts the handling and brake mods
  13. well I'm running 405bhp with an open diff. It can be interesting in the wet, but then I've pilot sport cup 2.s on the front. You dont have to drive with your foot flat, its makes you respect the throttle
  14. Have a look on superskoda’s site or eBay. Lots of dealers sell new stock on eBay. I think as long as it has the button on front. It should fit. Make sure the gear gator matches up.
  15. my setup: mich cup2 tyres on lightwight racingline 19s. But are a sod when cold. I find the sport 4 s good as allrounder and even uniroyal rainsport pretty good tbh. H&R springs, actually better ride than stock. (soon to get hr coilovers) audi a3 alloy subframe, lighter and stronger fully pollybushed superpro, better quality than others I find Front added caster all new oem topmounts bushes bearings etc front strut brace ebay jobbie H&R bluelight roll bars. ment for 4x4 so had to adapt my exhaust. fitted all new oem drop links at the same time. blue light btw was sold to the emergency services, I was lucky to find a new set really cheap. 034 dog bone insert. oh and my car is 405bhp diff next
  16. most modern vag cars with the front button release will work tbh. Ive got a RS3 one on my vrs. I'm assuming you have the button on the front?
  17. probably been asked before, Ive a non satnav mib1 radio, Ive added the kenwood garmin skoda satnav. Just wondering if theres a bigger screen that will work with it? Dont fancy swapping everyting out. ta
  18. 405bhp dsg, 27mpg mixed over the full tank. 18 - 23 if being silly, 36 - 40 only on motorway or a very long run.
  19. Oh poo. Thats a new rear wiper motor on order then.
  20. cool. Im thinking about the new vbox. Draggy can be weird with slopes sometimes. Seems to just make them up. Can be on the same road and get diferent slope readings.
  21. I guess stage 3 if you’d had to put a number on it.
  22. VP racing additive made bugger all difference. I added it to half a tank, maybe should of added it so less. TBH it felt stronger but the draggy times were pretty much the same.
