  1. Yeah they're not great and BMW where a nightmare to deal with I won't be giving them any money again that's for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Bought it as an ex demo 4 months old with 3k on the clock traded it after about 2 years ish with around 40k so not exactly loads of miles and the mrs drove it mostly so not beasted constantly either. It was just shocking I have a colleague with exactly the same car and exactly the same problems, although his has been fine for the last 18 months now after BMW had their senior engineers working on it total warranty bill on his was just north of 30k. 3. F1s for me too up to now they're fantastic might and day better than the contis it came with. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Yep winter tyres are a must for us too the last 2 years I've had my 4x4 confiscated ok the first year we had a BMW as her car and her theory was its it's slipping give it more power. I was relegated to my offroad toy which whilst great fun offroad is not the best on the road but gets me about. This year our daughter has to go to nursery etc so winters on mrs can be fairly confident of grip we live just outside main roads area so the last to be gritted if ever. 5. My first proper car at 18 H reg golf GTi 16v I loved that car I traded it for a vr6 which I didn't rate half as much, I do keep looking at them tempted to buy one as a weekend toy although the corrado maybe a better investment. You need to get that back together they're cars to be driven Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. Harmony remotes are the best I've ever used around £30 for a basic 555 which will do all you want and more. If you do loose or it again which it sounds like you might lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Where did you buy the xenons from? Are they just bulbs you swap out? That's the one thing missing on the octy oh and heated seats of course.
  9. Have a search through google for faults with BMW 35i engine shockingly bad don't go near one, great to drive but a nightmare to own and so expensive to service. In 3 years I had 2 new turbo sets (yes 4) Countless injectors and coil packs, I kept a print out of all work completed and if it hadn't been under warranty costs where £19.4k. Traded in for the octy an I love it.
  10. I think light clife Warrington had a manual estate in last week if that's any use.
  11. Dump her and shag her sister then move on and enjoy being single for a while, on a break means she's eyeing the market hence the sister thing (mother if no sister) this means a propper break up then, not she gets what she wants and you end up back together a month after she's been ridden like sea biscuit by god knows who. Happened to a good mate when we where younger completely devistated him when he found out much better to have a clean break now and if you've done the sister no going back
  12. Ah just seen no papers if you've been offered than at a pawn brokers I'd take It you may struggle to sell privately without papers far too many fakes around people just don't take the chance anymore. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  19. Had Goodyear F1 eagle asymet 2 on all week now they're extremely good very quiet on road noise an grip and grip even in the wet very impressed, better than bridgestones I had on another car in the wet only time will tell how they wear but up to now all the reviews have been true so expect them to last a while. 20. Does it work out better to do a bank loan and buy an octy vrs D outright? Driven a works cooper fantastic fun handles not far off the original mini (my first car) however the ride was so harsh it's unreal great blasting through the lanes but day to day it would drive me mad. I never hear great things about reliability but then again I own a skoda lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Lol cheers it's 3/4 cars but only 2 will fit with all the other junk, it was originally built to be a bungalow for an old relative type thing but that's never gonna happen I couldn't live with either parents old folks home for them lol. Temps here are at 5deg now highest was 9 today and next weeks looks the same so got them on now see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Just put an 18" vrs wheel in the wheel well (estate) it fits but the carpet is lifted slightly, still better than tyre weld though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
