  1. Keep the engine mounts OE, the rest can be poly bushed IIRC from others experience. Nice to see you keeping this one on the road👍 Did I ever tell you about my MkI Fabia🤔 It was the summer of nineteen clickety three. We had a good summer that year. Not to hot, not too cold. I had a cloud to yell at......
  2. @AnnoyingPentium poly bushes if you can preferably all round. Simpler if the rear axle is getting swapped out. Dunno if Tech1e still has them but he got a few new in box when he took mine IIRC.
  3. Used the last of the summer screen wash today and refilled the reservoir with some Sonax minus 20°C stuff. Normally I'd be swapping the tyres for the winters this weekend but I had all seasons fitted last year. Might put some winter gear (gloves, blanket etc) under the false boot floor tomorrow).
  4. You've got me questioning my sanity now 😂 I'll double check all three at the weekend 👍
  5. Not needed the rear demister to be on on any of our Skuds for the heated mirrors to function 🤷

  7. It's not you - the line never matches with the heated mirror symbol. Just turn it clockwise from L and it'll be the next 'click' and the heated mirrors will be on. Good not just for defrosting them but also keeping the rain off when it's wet as they evaproate it. e.g my 2011 MkII Fabia Scout My 2014 Rapid
  8. What 'fifteen minute cities' @Graham Butcher ? Do any actually exist in the UK of GB & NI?
  9. Hello @CFBScout and welcome back! Gotta love a Yeti.
  10. Not sure if they still do it but check under the boot carpet next to where the spare wheel, if you have one, would be - there may well be a large sticker showing the vehicles options for the factory build which should include the paint code. It's usually a number and a letter e.g. 7Q7Q

  14. Well then do as suggested above and find some clips to go into the buckle.

I did wonder when I saw your first post. Even mentioned it to another member that I've only seen that handle in one other place!

@Terrierist what are the chances 🤣
  17. It's a feature not a bug. If people are in the back they must wear a seatbelt - it's the law. If you want the warning to stop, tell the rear seat passengers to belt up. The answer remains the same.
  18. @jimoivez sounds like there's a leak in the system somewhere then which could be pinpointed with a dye leak test but if you're happy with it as it is then good for you
  19. Hello @jimoivez and welcome to Briskoda. Cracking cars the Octavia Scouts. Police in the UK use/ used to have quite a few. Pretty capable 4X4 which I'd imagine comes in handy in Norway. IIRC the a/c only functions when the outside temperature is above 6C which I guess isn't all that often outside summer in Norway lol It's of course possible that at fifteen years old now it's probably in need of the system needing regassing with refridgerent.
  20. That's probably @Hyphons @Batwoman which he's only recently put back on the road which he'd paired with a straight through exhaust IIRC. I had the misfortune of following him all the way back from Rockingham Raceway and it made an absolute racket 🤣 He's a great chap though Maybe in this thread > https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/402104-davids-citigo-20/
  21. Your car, your rules. When he's got his own car and paying for his own insurance then he can do whatever t/f he likes but until then, nah. As also said, it'll do sweet f/a for performance. Tell him also, contrary to Top Gear, pulling handbrake turns does not get the ladies turned on 🤣
  22. What solved it so others can learn from your experience? Thanks

Hi and welcome. If you click the link below, that will take you to the 'Classic' Skoda section of Briskoda. If you then hit 'Start new topic' you can ask your question there where owners of older models will hopefully answer your question https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/90-skoda-favorit-skoda-felicia-skoda-fun-and-skoda-forman/
