Sounds like my 2.0 tsi. The HPFP are quite noisy. Finally got around to checking this and the clip is still on mine and isnt loose. Still a noisey little *******s. Tempted to throw a wheel weight onto it and see how that goes. Does anyone know if the actuator is adjuatable at all?

Was just about to ask the same. Find out what you want to ride, set your budget and have a look and see what you can afford, dont be afraid to look at older stock as you can get more for your money. I'd reccommend a GT hard tail. Great entry-level stuff. Halfords Carrera stuff is ok too. Dont buy a bike frame thats too big either, i'm 5'7" and ride a 16" frame as I find it more chuckable.
