I found the culprit behind the pollen filter. It’s the flap you can see engaging here. Nothing obvious that it’s catching on though. Least I can show them what it is now. IMG_1254.mov

Afternoon all. I have a 2022 Superb 2L SEL Estate. It’s only done 1900 miles. It has a slightly weird issue. Shortly after the AC is turned on, there is a loud thump/clonk from behind the glovebox area and the AC noticeably gets less effective. It will clonk again shortly after switching the AC off. When it’s on, and you go into reverse it will also give off a loud clonk again. When it works, it’s brilliant - icey cold - but post-thump, it’s just a bit limp. It’s in warranty (just) and will be going in in a few weeks time. But would be super helpful if I can point them in the right direction! Sound familiar to anyone? Cheers, James.

I have VW half caps to cover the nuts. And you can even have my stand too. £100. Cash on collection. First come, first serve - I’m not holding onto them until winter! I owned a 330ci BMW once and despite multiple attempts at alignment and checking/changing various bushes, I couldn’t quite stop it tramlining… until I changed the directional tyres, which is what you’re describing here. I had Eagle F1s which were basically just massive arrows - about as directional as you can get. When I changed to asymmetric tyres, I didn’t have to wrestle the car anymore. may not be your entire problem, but likely isn’t helping.

On Kia’s, if the button remains pushed down when the car is started it defaults to off and stays off. No ill-effects were reported. I’m sure there are more elegant ways, but I saw someone on a Stinger forum “bodge” it with a tiny piece of heatshrink wedged into the side of the button. Was almost invisible. No idea if Skodas work in the same way? Just throwing it out there in case someone wants to experiment…

Building started 27th June. Completed and left the factory on the 26th July. Today (8th August) got an email from the broker to say it’s waiting for a ship at the port of exit. Usually takes 2-3 weeks from this point. Apparently.

Apparently ours has been shipped… delivery some time in August. Apparently. (ordered mid Nov 21)

No update on ours yet. Will let you know if there’s any movement.

So, regarding the foam moulding with “petals” mentioned above, how much needs to be lopped off to make it fit with a full sized wheel? Thanks.
