These are still available in case anyone is looking for some winter wheels this coming winter 👍

Now my 61 plate Octavia VRS has gone, I no longer need my winter wheels. 4 x 16” steels (black) with 205/55/16 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 4D tyres. Decent amount of tread left. See pics. I have VW half caps to cover the nuts. And you can even have my stand too. £100. Cash on collection. First come, first serve - I’m not holding onto them until winter! Collection from Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 4AW.

Superb L&K 272 Hatch incoming!
thejames replied to dunc69's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
I’m an estate-kinda guy normally, but that is lovely. Congrats 👍 Love the go-go-gadget parcel shelf. -
Delivery middle of next week. 9.5 months total.
-
Also found this which looks pretty versatile (and a fraction of the price). https://singletrackworld.com/forum/topic/interior-car-bike-rack-for-3199-fits-any-car-with-headroom-for-bikes/

Googled it (cos couldn’t picture it). Found this.

12v battery low alert - ideas?
thejames replied to Snowr0's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
I could be way off base, but I’ve heard of tow bars throwing up battery charge level issues 🤷♂️ Just a thought. -
Constantly drifting to the right
thejames replied to pcspinheiro's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
I owned a 330ci BMW once and despite multiple attempts at alignment and checking/changing various bushes, I couldn’t quite stop it tramlining… until I changed the directional tyres, which is what you’re describing here. I had Eagle F1s which were basically just massive arrows - about as directional as you can get. When I changed to asymmetric tyres, I didn’t have to wrestle the car anymore. may not be your entire problem, but likely isn’t helping. -
In the UK as of Monday 15th August. In case anyone finds the timeline useful. PDI, reg and delivery to come. Hoping we’ll see it next week?? How are you getting on Radobg1?

Memory module for Start-Stop button
thejames replied to MartiniB's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
On Kia’s, if the button remains pushed down when the car is started it defaults to off and stays off. No ill-effects were reported. I’m sure there are more elegant ways, but I saw someone on a Stinger forum “bodge” it with a tiny piece of heatshrink wedged into the side of the button. Was almost invisible. No idea if Skodas work in the same way? Just throwing it out there in case someone wants to experiment… -
Building started 27th June. Completed and left the factory on the 26th July. Today (8th August) got an email from the broker to say it’s waiting for a ship at the port of exit. Usually takes 2-3 weeks from this point. Apparently.
-
Apparently ours has been shipped… delivery some time in August. Apparently. (ordered mid Nov 21)
-
No update on ours yet. Will let you know if there’s any movement.
-
So, regarding the foam moulding with “petals” mentioned above, how much needs to be lopped off to make it fit with a full sized wheel? Thanks.
-
Anyone else any updates? Two and a half weeks later ours is still “in production”.
-
It’s a 2L petrol estate SEL. 360 camera. A few other bits inside.
-
Some very tentative good news… apparently building started yesterday… keeping everything crossed. Ordered Nov ‘21.
-
25 weeks is just a bare-faced lie. 39-49 weeks at least aligns with current estimates for pending 2021 orders. They could easily slip beyond 12 months though.
-
This could be poppycock. Some places are claiming 9 months in the UK, which is nonsense. Or maybe it’s true, and it’s just far simpler to sell within the EU.
-
That’s depressing. Sorry to hear that.
