Help with yeti version
But the question is asking what model it is. """"Hi I’ve bought a 2016 se business 2.0scr 110 but the spec is not the same as others advertised """"

Help with yeti version
No no mention of that but when he says ""I’ve bought a 2016 se business 2.0scr 110"" I'll bet it's "Business Grey" colour and not part of the model so that's what I was expecting to hear.

Heko wind deflectors with electric folding mirrors
I have Climair wind deflectors and yes the mirrors when they fold do touch them, the deflectors came with a little pad that you put where they touch, no problems in the last 6ish years they have been fitted.

New timing belt at 5 years
Make up your mind is in front of you or behind the engine? PS: the alternator is right in front of you, would it make sense to change that too?

Replacement Stereo
Contact these people, a lot of very good reports of these repairing the touchscreen issues on the Yeti lately. You can visit them to do the work or take the unit out yourself and post it to them. Don't even think about getting Skoda to replace the ststem. https://www.satnavsystems.com/diagnostics-repairs/

Take the cambelt off to change the water pump on a 1.2tsi engine?

Why change a water pump not showing any problems?

I wonder why they don't put rust free discs on cars. When was the last time you saw rusty motorcycle discs?

The change is more on time than mileage. The diesel engines that have cam-belt it runs on the water pump whereas on petrol engines the water pump is a separate from the cam-belt. I have had a water pump fail that threw off the cam--belt but was lucky not to have totalled the engine, not a chance I'd take now.

Side window movement got a mind of its own - electrics ?
Close the window and release the switch then hold switch up again for about 5 seconds. This should reset the one touch operation and also reset the mirrors folding from a long press on the locking fob if the car is equipped with that.

Something not right
Why not get an OBDII plug in and the VAG DPF app on your phone to monitor the DPF This is mine from last week while doing a Regen, the Oil Ash % is what matters, that will determine how long your DPF will last before being replaced or taken off the car and given a professional clean with chemicals.

moving from Roomster to Yeti
Tyres on a Yeti with 16" wheels are about ½ the cost of tyres on 17" wheels.

DPF cleaning temperature
1000 rpm raised tickover as I could only do that when I was parked.
-
Something not right
If you have no warning lights up on the dash it should not need to do one.

DPF cleaning temperature
This is an old thread but just to show what VAG DPF shows during a DPF regeneration, also note that it's 515 miles since the last regeneration, I put that down mostly to using Archoil AR6900-D Max at 50ml per 50 litres of diesel at every fill.

Something not right
That is an exhaust pressure sensor. I suggest you look up and learn about the DPF and the problems if not cared for.
-
Something not right
What exactly was it you changed? A DPF for the Yeti is more like £1000+.
-
Something not right
Did you mean DPF? What part did you replace for £85?

The Roomster also has Varioflex seating.

VCDS adaptation for auto folding mirrors ?
I don't believe it is possible, could it be because the doors have the option to lock over about 10mph?
