  1. Welcome. A mod will move your post to the Roomster section and hopefully someone can help.
  2. Welcome. Petrol or Diesel, manual or DSG? Probably makes no difference as basically what you see is what you get.
  3. Half Black Pudding half haggis split down the pudding long wise. Elsewhere you get Blaggis Pies, Burgers etc.
  4. Have you had a Blaggish from there?
  5. I stopped parking right where you are when eating my chips as too many gulls landed on the roof.
  6. This can be the issue if the Dealership has incompetents in the workshop. I do not touch Electricery as it is all magic to me, & as i know Sparks that know their stuff. @rum4mohas not posted in your thread. He might have had some experience or has knowledge of your issue.
  7. 'They' will tell you not a good idea to disable it as they can not tell you it is a good idea and you tell the world. On Social Media / Forums etc. I can show you the threads though when there were issues with Stop / Start / Batteries and Skoda Main Dealership Techs disabled the Stop / Start until the fault could be resolved. Owners / Drivers sent off for weeks and weeks with no functioning Stop / Start.
  8. @Bill65Which ECO / Ditch finder tyres did your Koroq come with. A decent set of All Weather tyres can make lots of difference even if the identical size to the Summer ('all season' ) OEM fitment. (all season as in hopeless most of the time)
  9. Battery sounds fine, ready to get some regen as you reduce speed once the car is moving. Pity the issue can be that the cars need not sit long before the battery struggle or fails to start them.
  10. Possibly the closest competitor to the Skoda Mk4 when they can be had. Bet you he never checked or set the tyre pressures in either car before commenting on the steering. I wonder where SEAT found a better manual gearbox than VW or Skoda have for this new car!
  11. Instead of additive why not try a full tank of Super Unleaded so 97 / 99 E5 petrol with its additives. Reset the computer and compare with the last tank fill. That is if you have bought & used 95 ron E10 since it was introduced in September. (OT Winter Grade Petrol of Unleaded or Super Unleaded might be in your local filling stations depending where you are in the UK, starts in mid October in Scotland / North England.)
  12. You do not need the extended scope until next year but the Plan has it as at the 2nd Service. The car could be on a Variable Service Interval but that would have needed set at the last service. At 3 year i would be just getting any warranty work done before it expires if there is anything because Main Dealer Servicing is a a ridiculous cost now. Especially if doing Low annual mileage where a good Independent can actually do what is needed.

I am hopeful that i can get joined up to that or something affordable Mid January when my Eon Tariff expires. I left Octopus to them because i was not home charging as i was charging Free at Public Chargers. Eon seem to not be able to offer me a EV charging tarrif now even though i will take a Smart Meter and have a home charger. At present i am 18 pence a kWh on Electric and only 7 pence a day Standing Charge and now know 27 p a kWh and 27 pence a day SC is pretty much what i will have to expect Jan till April and then who knows what. The Council Chargers i use are going from Free to 23 pence a kWh from Monday. So i will free charge about 30 miles south before i get home when on trips & then top up free at a Tesco 7kw charger, and if needs must charge on my Granny Charger or just pre heat the battery and interior on it at 18 pence a kWh. Just messing about at seeing how long i can keep running an EV as cheap as possible. I have done a total of 22,000 miles in EV's in 18 months for 2 Charge Place Scotland Cards @ £20 each and £17.20 at InstaVolt.
  14. Very Nice. Have you had the Haldex Serviced while the car has been serviced or was it done before you got it?
  15. Make sure that they understand when you book and when the car is handed in and the keys that it is the Oil & Inspection Service. 'Extended Scope' is @ 3 years / 30,000 miles, but it is a tech on the car anyway only 2 years old and not near the miles for extended scope. But the deal is done. If you do not want a £35 Pollen Filter than say so and have the person write that on the Work Sheet, if they offer the AC Service, Fuel Treatment, Engine Flush and all the other Up-selling 'Just say no'. Have it written down, Pre Paid Service Plan only and no extras without permission. If they want to top up anything then that is covered under 'Extended Scope', so should not be extra. If you do not want a Free Wash & Vacuum then have that written down. Be sure there is a Body & Glass Inspection and that is put on the system. (Paint / Corrosion Warranty.) THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE TAKING OFF THE WHEELS FOR THE 'EXTENDED SCOPE' so if you want wheels tyres changed front to rear, rear to front they could do that 'AT NO CHARGE'.
  16. I think there are at least 2 in the Project Fabia section with Mk2 Fabia with it done. eg http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/476148-ruff'smk2-vrs-project/page/2
  17. @paddywack1878 How much did you pay, and is this a Skoda UK offer as part of a new car purchase / finance agreement? Why do they want to charge for this next Service if you paid for 2 Oil & Inspection Services? What is the T&c's of the Services. 2 Services on Fixed Interval Servicing? The Pollen filter could be an extra cost and you can say no to that. Easy to do your self. maybe just vacuum filter & space and clean / wash the area where it is fitted. .. OT..................................................................................................................................... The OP here is right, not enough clarity on what the deal includes /involves. Then Dealership being a chancer. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/498122-two-services-for-£79 This was a Skoda Approved Used Car agreement.
  18. If you want a Skoda Extended / Approved Warranty after the Manufacturers Warranty expires & after what ever warranty you get with the car expires then you maybe want it serviced to the Manufacturers Recommendations. http://insurewithskoda.co.uk/extended-warranty So since not at a Skoda Dealership check with Skoda the Service & Warranty history they hold on the car up to now.

  20. the 1,330 cc engine would do my legal speed driving just fine these days. I would not have any car without a rear wiper so many saloons or even hatchback EV's would be a no no. I just was taken by the looks with not much bling. and the beautiful interior that i had a nosy into. They are not Green Sticker cars. There are Plug in Hybrid threads in the EV Section of Briskoda.
  21. It might have been on variable / Flexible servicing so since built and had the PDI it might have had 1 Oil & Filter Service Only. 24 months / 18,000-20,000 miles. It might have had 2 if on Fixed Service Interval, @ 9,400 miles / 372 days or sooner. It might have had a Pollen Filter @ 2 years. So if it had that then that can be called FMDSH / or Serviced to Manufacturers Recommendations. I would want it to have an Oil & Filter Change before delivery, and Extended Scope action if a Main Dealer is doing it, even a Brake Fluid Change. Any warranty work or Service Campaign / TPI's carried out. Main Dealers tell Customers a A/C service is due at 2 years so ask them if they are doing one before delivery.
  22. The day has come where i covet a Mercedes. Just a no frills looking one in the same colour as a Peugeot 504 i had in the 1980's. Just posting here rather than in 'Visually my car of the day'.
  23. Be aware that the 2 services for £79 with the finance is just a oil and filter inspection service and one with Extended Scope. Still much cheapness but. In the General Automotive Chat section a member seemed surprised that other stuff like spark plugs is extra cost. But then they had stuff done that they were not asked if they wanted. So basically with the L&K the DSG oil change is due in 10,000 miles. £215 at main dealers. As to stuff not to manufacturer's recommendations now, they should do those to have the warranty valid. They often do not though. If you own a car and not they might say a warranty is voided.
  24. Such a shame that Skoda / VW Group could not have had the Mk4 Fabias Hatch & Estate with e-Tech 1.0 & 1.5 TSI's to allow the low emission kidology. If MG Motors just First Register more EV's then the new Skoda Estate / Combi could maybe be produced. https://europe.autonews.com/automakers/vw-faces-eu-fine-missing-2020-emissions-targets https://autovista24.autovistagroup.com/news/vw-group-and-jlr-face-fines-exceeding-2020-eu-emissions-target
