New member, a Fabia 1.2 110 and some questions
The mk3 Fabia DQ200 DSG does have Hill hold assist (hill hold control) to hold the car for couple of seconds between brake pedal and accelerator. It is AUTOHOLD that it does not have, but then there is no e-brake either. AUTOHOLD has the car held with the brakes, front and rear and not just by the rear brakes like a parking / e-brake.

Skoda Fabia MK4 Estate cancelled ?
@AnnoyingPentium Lets see in a few decades how you get on when easy in and easy out matters. Seats higher from the ground or floor & roofs higher from the floor is not a bad thing.

Delivery lead-time
OK, unnecessary for you and maybe many others and a location location location thing but not for others and maybe not just females.
-
Delivery lead-time
I understand, but that is different, that is Anti-hijack so that the door is locked for those outside opening it when the car is stopped. The feature to stop children or idiots opening a door while a car is moving makes sense to many.

Winter tyres 195/65/15 ?
Surely the OP's worry and nobody else's other than people in Serbia. Simple fix is ask a Skoda Dealership if they have any Transport Blocks they remembered to remove from new cars and fit those. Stiffens the suspension up a treat.

@Cotswold Why do you want the doors not locked when the car is moving, do you have people that need to exit the car while it is moving?

Real Range
@Jim2015Is that actually 110 miles you can go and if you started with a full tank and full electric you could not get 5 litres into the tank from a can? That is the best way to actually see how far 4.546 litres will take you. After doing 110 miles on a gallon what does it show the MPG as?

Poor tyre wear?
Regen braking is not locking up tyres and wearing them that way.. Plenty EV's are not on specfic EV tyres and as it is anyway in the UK there is the NSL. eg, On crap Michelin Primacy 4 So maybe tyres are being spun but then a driver would know that as they are the driver. Or the pressures are wrong. Lots of heavy vehicles on wider or low profile tyres are on UK roads and get decent wear over lots of miles. They can be FWD, RWD or AWD. Some tyres are actually just rubbish be them OEM or not. As far as Budget Tyres being soft, then there are ones that are hard and hence ditchfinders, just like many now OEM ECO Tyres the VW Group fit. Big Brand, not cheap just bad for what the driver wants. Traction / Friction / Safe with loved ones in their car.

Service/Nav queries
How long will you have the car and how many miles will it do a year? Is it the over 10,000 miles? Your car will have arrived at the Dealers from the factory on Variable / Flexible so it will have been changed at the PDI. They have no right doing so if you did not ask or they did not ask you. You can not really change the service interval back to Variable without servicing the car. Actually it can be done, you can or someone can but then that makes a joke of Service Records. I would tell the Dealer Principal that they are taking the pith and best service it free at the Fixed Service as that was not what you wanted.

Delivery times?
Asking prices will not drop like a stone where Dealers / traders will need to cover how much they have spent of their money or borrowed money / finance they buy stock with. BCA lends Money to purchase stock. Others that own vehicles outright like some private or company owners can maybe still do OK selling for a while yet. Those with an EV to flog might keep on doing well until charging costs take a big hike next year.

Burning Oil
As long as to VW 508 00 / 509 00 you can nip to Asda, Tesco or anyplace with own brand. Comma, Quantum / Fuchs or anything. No need for Branded profiting because they spend more advertising.

Personalised Plates... Cool, or Sad?
Lots have cherished plates on vehicles between putting them on appropriate cars. I had S555 *** on retention but never put on anything other than a Subaru. My son has a different S555 *** from my one on a BMW just now. I have ones with S44 *** & J44 *** and they go on anything. Best one local to me is F15 KEN which Mr Fisken has on his Bentley. I liked the Briskoda members YET 1, also the story of getting a NIP because of an error with a cars displaying a Showroom Plate YETI

Scala Monte Carlo
2010-2014 you could spec in the UK a new from the factory Mk2 Fabia vRS with 'Sports Suspension' other than the lower 'Sports Suspension' that the vRS or Monte Carlo had as standard and at the PDI Eibach springs were fitted.

Kamiq 1.5tsi which gearbox
No idea what a 1.4 G-Tech is and not going to use a search engine to find out. But if the DSG needs no oil changed then it is a DQ200. And if a hybrid 1.4 TSI as sold in North America years back it was a e-DQ200. Lots of DQ200,s do high miles / km. But then VW have had 12 years to fix the faults they often built in with the millions they and Skoda have built. EDIT. OK so now i know.

Burning Oil
As the owners manual tells for every engine type and has done for decades. May use more oil In the first 5,000 km. Or similar words. Checking the level cold then at operating temp after collecting a new car, a used car or a borrowed car, or after a service is simply clever. You want to know the car has enough oil from the off.

Ora Cat vids. A compact EV.
Prices will be interesting as the schemes for Subscription with EV,s is ramped up. No deposit or advance payment and all expense including charging in what you pay to rent then. The adverts are now appearing on the telly. As far as the MG EV estate, that is still in a class of its own for a while. Small or Long Range battery and an estate or light commercial goods van if you want. Very good value IMO. As to the Ora, I look forward to driving one. Nice amount of power there and hopefully range with the bigger battery. Easy to wash and polish as well.

Scala Monte Carlo
Style over function or practicality is often the choice with Skoda trim levels. Sporty looks without any more sporty performance with small of mid size models.

Thinking of buying either a VRS Kodiaq or the L&K
You get proper Tyre Mouse for putting in motorised vehicles tyres pre puncture. They have been available and used for decades now. 'Slime' needs cleaned up just like 'Tyre Weld' which goes in to seal a puncture and inflate the tyre or the OEM Tyre repair products before doing a permanent repair.

Opening Bonnet From Fully Closed If Battery Is Dead?
If the Battery is flat just use the key in the key hole provided for if the battery is flat. Then you can get in the car, get the owners manual out to read how to open the car if there is a flat battery and hopefully pull the bonnet release to open that. It is not Simply Clever just simple.

Skoda fixed price servicing and maintenance showed first 30 minutes of a diagnosis @£60. That was until recently so just look again at the website. If their diagnosis is limited to reading fault codes and finding nothing then that takes less than 30 minutes from picking up the keys at the reception desk, putting on a seat cover and driving round the building. Hopefully not kerbing a wheel if they do a test drive / pick up the bacon rolls.- Skoda Enyaq iV 60 range and 100 kW charging test
