Height of floor to roof in boot
I used to carry bikes that were fine tuned. The seat posts were not dropped, just marked with tape or tipex and removed.

Future battery upgrades
Anything might be possible in the future. In 8 years VW Group likely to have gone too late into Hydrogen as the materials for batteries are all ready part of a shortage now in 2021. https://europe.autonews.com/suppliers/vw-daimler-stellantis-face-raw-material-bottleneck-ev-batteries VW

What do I do?
Welcome to the forum. I would sell your car for good money that is available and buy a fast car that might be sitting not selling now as not much in demand. There are plenty about. Maybe you will even get a good price with a trade in for some trader sitting with an actual quick car they want moved on.

wiring loom
Welcome. A mod can maybe move this to the Yeti section. What issue are you having? What Yeti, petrol or diesel. manual or DSG? A Corroded loom where, under bonnet, between car and doors, in the rear?

Extending Superb iV's electric range
The now Long Range version of the MG5 Estate might not be a Skoda Superb but the well under £30,000 price in the UK and real world 200 miles plus range with people or animals and stuff in the car make it a BEV bargain IMO. Not a bad interior in then at a price comparison with ICE estates of the same size.

Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
Car's brainfart has sorted it's self. Battery warmer and calculations on todays current use. Now battery charge and kWh usage between car and phone as it should be after a run and onto a charger twice for a few minutes. The Dash and the screen in the middle never quite match though. Best i got at displayed @ 10-11*oC was 4.1 miles per kWH, that was at pretty slow speeds never up to 50 and mostly in the last 10-15 miles at 25mph on single track roads i usually cycle and that are downhill or flat. So acceptable but not good. I will do the same again when the air and road temp is a 0*oC. When i set off next time it will be showing the range based on 3.7 miles per kWh in the battery probably. Car sits a few hours as the ambient temp gets higher and without it being driven the cars is deciding that the range has increased. It is just all a guessamation on how it will be driven. Interested to see tomorrow morning what range it decides to show and battery percentage dropped if any as the weather will be warm tonight and tomorrow morning.

Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
Only showed a 1% drop over night and since yesterday afternoon, but it was milder night. That was plugging in the charger this morning to see the percentage. I will have a 15 mile run up to the Angus glens and a quicker 10 miles run back which is all down hill and gets max regen and see just what the miles per kWh shows when I get back and then compare what battery % shows plugged into the public charger and then 1 miles later what it is on my 3 pin charger. The public charger even on AC will show more than the battery is actually at.

Extending Superb iV's electric range
@velis Welcome to the forum. I will flag your post to a mod and they can move this to the Mk3 Superb section where you might get advice. Personally i think that the modification is not viable and changing the car for a EV is the thing to do. Manufacturers have not achieved building Plug In Hybrids with decent range on Electricity as far as i have seen. The best are ones that have Generator engines that power batteries and do not drive the wheels directly.

"Eco" tyre pressures
The Purchase price of tyres is not an indication of safety or grip / traction / friction. The OEM tyre fitment of tyres from the biggest most well known brands fitted by the biggest car manufacturers can be real horror shows. ECO Tyres that some might run at ECO tyre pressures and that might leave a Dealers from a PDI over inflated and as they were when the car was In Transit. Even run at sensible pressures they might well be OK as Summer tyres if the Summer is dry and warm but as 'All year round' and use all around the UK they may be no better than Ditch Finders, actually worse than tyres that are inexpensive and made under names owned by the Major Tyre Companies and equal to the Parent Companies tyres. eg Michelin own Kieber, Tigar, Riken,Kormoran, Uniroyaland BF Goodrich, then ATS Euromaster & BlackCircles where you might be able to get these brands. Michelin Primacy 4 are not Budget but ECO and fitted to maybe get economy and range with EV's rather than Security, gtip, traction and short braking distances. What are fitted as OEM on Soft roaders / AWD's and imported to the UK in strange sizes for those that need All Weather / All Season or Winter tyres is ridiculous in this day and age. As to Brakes, that is something that VW Group penny pinch on and replacements that are superior to OEM need not be expensive to exceed the standard discs and pads and may not rust in front of your eyes.

Front and rear wipers on all the time
Welcome to the forum. A mod will move to the Mk3 Fabia section and hopefully someone can help.

Can I change from 18" wheels to 16" wheels?
@cestrian Did you tell the tyre pressure to set them at or did you do it and reset the TPMS? The issue with the Primacy 4 is that they are used on lots of EV's or Hybrids because they are an ECO tyre as in they help the range of the car. This is from the rather poor traction / grip / friction. Not that good in the wet or cold, so best not run the tyre pressure to the ECO pressure.

Paint on bumper discoloured or marked
@purrlyne Has your car been at a Dealership for Servicing recently, and the Body & Glass Inspection & Report that is part of the Service, and did you hand the car over clean and get it returned clean after the free Wash & Vacuum? Did you and the Service Desk check the car when you handed over the keys and when you collected the car again? Sorry but not knowing your circumstances i was trying to get the facts that paint a picture. (sorry for the pun). The kind of person i meant that might try to hide damage was a son type person, as in a teenager. But if that does not apply then not applicable. Another usual is a House Painter, Gardener, someone doing work, maybe some workers at your workplace / parking place spill something when passing the car and clean it off and job is a good one as far as they are concerned. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/479082-contractor-has-sprayed-paint-on-my-car I used to inspect paint faults and do warranty correction or non warranty correction. Skoda / VW used a very good company that who were Independent experts. Problems came when the Expert said Factory Paint Faults and some non expert at VW / Skoda knocked back (rejected) the 'report and advice to repair'. Their mission to be reduce as much expense to VW Group in the After Sales Support, like a loss adjuster but one who could not give a toss about poor Quality Control or Factory /Manufacturing defects, and if they have no record of Kerb Side Auto Repairs fixing damage from a cars delivery on ot off the transporter then that is that. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/430237-bonnet-paint-defects http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/452334-bumper-paintwork-haze

Vauxhall Corsa electric 2020 Fault (maybe faults) in first 6 weeks & various over the next 3 years.
The past 2 nights when my car has been parked and unused overnight i have noticed quite a big drop in the batteries charge. That is from about 6pm to 6am and about 10% over the 12 hours with maybe 6 of those being at or just above freezing. This is more loss than was happening last year at lower temperatures than this. Maybe only 10% over 2 days if the car was unused. This is without any pre-heating of the car or battery happening or even opening and closing doors. Going to try over the next 24 hours from the car showing as being at 100% charged at home. Not going to be so cold though and warmer weather is coming. On the local public charger it was at 100% and 2 miles later was showing as only at 97% when plugged in and on my charger. As it is the Guessometer on average miles is having a brain fart after a few miles use in the past days with Heater turned up, heated seat and heated steering wheel used. If i set off now the miles would probably show 160 miles range available within 10 miles of driving and might actually do that.

Paint on bumper discoloured or marked
When did it start showing like this and have you had the car since new but never noticed it over the past 2 years when washing and polishing or waxing until now? If you had from new and know you have not had any paint repairs it is usual that any damage that was done in transit and had work would show before now. ? Could someone in the household or at work have done some damage and tried polishing it out? A paint thickness test and even a test of the paint will know if it is factory paint, but any authorised / approved repairer if they did work should have carried it out to that spec.

Scala,front tyre wear.
TPMS /Tyre Pressure Monitor System is warning just if a tyre deflates from what it was at or the tyres were at when the TPMS was last set. The OP will now with the next tyres fitted to do a swap front to rear at maybe every 6,000 miles or so, or it is a case of tyre pressures set correctly for the cars usage / weight carried / season and have the tracking checked and adjusted if pothole or kerbs are hit.

new E10 Fuel and Economy
OT of E10 but relevant to those buying fuel. Winter Spec Petrol & Diesel should be getting delivered to filling station now in Scotland and the North of England and then further south as time goes by and until the end of March 2022. That is a formulation that is less hygroscopic, and additive to protect against waxing in the diesel / red diesel.

E-drive sound generator deletion/silencing?
I drive a 2020 EV that makes no noise up to 15 mph because it was type approved before the legislation on it being required. I really have to be careful as pedestrians are crossing roads regularly into my path. Particularly as i turn onto side streets and they are in a dream. Not much difference from when pedestrians are on phones or have on headphones, hats pulled over their ears etc. Cyclists really get a surprise as i slow to pass them or even not slow as they are not aware i am there. Dangerous really driving in 'Stealth' Mode.

Fuel Smell
@Lee12 Welcome to the forum. Is it one of the first Mk3 Fabia or is it a Mk2 Fabia? Best have someone experienced check the car PDQ. The correct fuel cap should not be an issue, the car should be able to be on its roof and no petrol coming out the filler or the breather.

Battery replacement 2010 Yeti
@MX-5 This thread was posted about a Euro5 2010 Yeti. No Stop / Start. One that was part of the Emission Scandal though so there was new 'Engine Management' / Software developed for as part of a voluntary recall. So really not a modern car but ones built while VW Group used different methods to have the Low Emission figures that they now get.

Fabia Vrs mk2 cam tensioner
^^^^ That happened with Twinchargers & there was a bonnet stay rattle, A common rattle with CAVE vRS from 2010-12 was the broken bracket on the exhaust down pipe, or the heat shield, but then that was happening by 2016 on 2010 cars. Then there was the 'Cattle grid noise' as reported with DQ200's. Some rattles at standstill. some when moving and some heard from outside, others inside only. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/451988-tiny-rattle-noise-from-passengers-side-front http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/283194-rattle http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/457262-2013-fabia-mk-ii-vrs-to-left-of-engine

New or improved hubs announced, Government EV Loans in Scotland and free & no longer free public charging places..
While i sat in the sun for a few hours while the car was sitting on a 7kWh charger i was trying to phone Charge Place Scotland / SWARCO to report that at any one time only 2 cars were able to get CCS charging started. Cards were authorised and just would not start the chargers on CCS. The CHademo would start and AC was OK on the Tethered Chargers. I never got an answer and neither did some that tried to call or start chargers with the APP. Drivers were just moving on in many cases. The issue is not just at my local hub there are drivers telling of having the same issues all around Scotland and some that never have issues and then it is common that those that do have never reported them or might try but get no answer. There was a KIa Niro occupying a Rapid Bay and using the CCS for 3 hours. This meant nobody went to use it, but when it switched off with a full charge i unplugged it and someone got on it. The owner came back and i spoke to him. He was not concerned i had unplugged as he leaves the car having used the switch at the 'Charger Unlocked setting' so that people can. Not many dare touch another's car and i have seen many people just assume the charger is in use so tough luck.
