Flexible Servicing
@smipx The prices were set Pre-pandemic. Pre a hint of lockdowns, furlow etc. So post VW Group cheating with defeat devices and then caught cheating again after 2015 with more implausible C02 g/km in testing. then unprepared for WLTP / RDE 2 and having to bunker cars for months. So unless as usual they had commissioned Derren Brown they were already to set the new Serving pricing. That does not excuse the total lack of understanding of Recommendation at Dealerships as VW Group do not use the term 'Service Schedules'.

EV real world range and cost to charge
PITA when there is one Rapid charger and the likes of this e-Golf sits across 2 bays and then is sitting at the very least 40 minutes with the charger no longer charging the car. Luckily the charger head was not locked in since charging had stopped. When they got back and looked in the car they did say they had got a full charge, which is lovely! While i moan i do have to remember that you never know what was parked there when they arrived so this can sometimes be the reason for out of space parking, then also the placement of charger ports.

2017 SEL Exec 1.4 DSG with 90k miles!
They are not Sealed for life. There is no schedule or recommendations for changing either the oil in the box or the MCU / Mechatronic Control unit. Both can be changed though. No need to if all is well with the DQ200 DSG. That is the same since 2009. There are no NEW DQ200. Just new e-DQ200,s. Then as far as filled for life. The recall world wide excluding Europe was to change the oil from synthetic to mineral in what VW group people say is a filled for life box

Variable Servicing - how is it shown?
PS. Oil changed with oil and filter is just that, an oil and filter service. Servicing and maintenance is so much more than oil changes.

Variable Servicing - how is it shown?
Those with plug in hybrids need to be aware that Dealership staff are telling owners and also VW sites are showing their 1.4 TSI engine requires to be on Fixed Servicing for oil and filter changes and some VW stuff says at 8,000 miles and some at 9,000 miles. Vorsprung Dutch Technik. Never get any better at keeping customers informed and never sort typos or errors in translation.

Flexible Servicing
This was the Fixed Price Skoda Menu up to the end 2019 for fixed servicing 3-10 year old cars at Participating Dealerships. Some dealerships continued this later than Jan 2020. Skoda UK changed to 'Oi & Inspection Service's & the each 3rd year 'Extended Scope' from Jan 2020.

Flexible Servicing
@smipx The 'Inspection' i speak of was if the car needed 'Inspected' for the sake of paint & Corrosion. That was a pith take by Dealership. Up to 2020 the Skoda Servicing had a £99 Oil Service offer on 3-10 year old cars. Your 2nd service obviously includes Oil & Filter. This week a member spoke of the£60 for a look around and see 'Inspection', No Servicing or oil change. The OP

Delivery times?
- Delivery times?
The Fleet manager will know that Audi in the UK also need to be meeting lower C02 g/km of vehicles being first registered in the UK so that will be need to be very careful in what they are delivering and what are being registered. As it is Skoda are really a low volume seller in the UK and there are no Citigo iV any more to help with lower emissions and the Fabia being sold are few and run out models so really the lowest emission models need flogged. So Mild Hybrids, Plug In's and EV's and then whatever else helps in their quest & obviously what is built and already imported or in transit.- Delivery times?
If the biggest car manufacturer group in the World which is VW Group have the same shortages as other manufacturers but can still produce some vehicles and actually sell them then surely for each group it makes sense to 'build' the most profitable ones and if they mean you are not paying millions or billions in fines because you could not meet the requirement for the Average Emissions. Lots of ifs and buts, but then someplace there will be someone 'Simply clever' in charge of things. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/495893-have-enyaq's-had-their-chips- Flexible Servicing
In the good old days of a Service Book that showed each years Service Items there was a page after the 'Major Services' for the Body Inspection for the Warranty on Paint & Corrosion. Then that went on a Hand Held. If you did not use the Dealership Network for Servicing you could still put a vehicle in each 2 years for an Inspection. That used to be £69 then got to £99. That meant you were meeting the T&C's for the Paint & Corrosion Warranty. There are no T&C's for an Inspection now, if you have a claim the T&C's say report to a Authorised Repairer. Yet Skoda / VW will still say there is no Record of an Inspection. They are taking the Micheal.- Flexible Servicing
It used to be if Fixed. Minor / Interim & then Major services. If it was Variable / Flexible it was Major @ 24 months / 18,000-20,000 miles or sooner if you wanted. The 'Inspection Service' was a Nothing, just what they had showing between Majors. Now it is Oil & Inspection Services if on Fixed Services and then each 3 years the Extended Scope. Each and ever Service should have then check the Body for the Paint & Corrosion Warranty, Skoda say that that is not done if you claim. They know who never did it then. The pricing is on Fixed Servicing 3-10 year old cars. For Variable they can take the Michael what they say and what they charge.- The Great Electric Leap Forward
http://www.gov.uk/government/news/further-action-needed-on-ev-charging-to-meet-net-zero- Be aware if EV charging in Scotland next week chargers may not be available. 'Charge Place Scotland' / Swarco / Evolt. Change over next week starting Monday 26th July.

@numskull They do not want to change a Service Indicator / Record because really they are not supposed to and if the Local Dealership is not in the same Motor Group as the one with the incompetents then why should they. They also know that Dealership are at it, or useless and might not even have serviced as per schedule. That basically covers it. Ask the Dealer Principal what they want to do. Do they want to pay for the next service? They should not be allowed to inconvenience you. Your time is a valuable as the hourly rate they charge you for jobs.- First VRS review I've seen of a real facelift one.
Thomas could maybe try the 0-62 mph time with the vRS at full revenue weight. A driver then the 6 seats with weigh strapped in them and weight in the boot. Really something would be they had given it the 265ps engine with it being the bigger heavier SUV rather than getting the same power as the lighter Golf Hot Hatch or even giving it the 315ps of a Golf Hot Hatch / Estate with AWD.- Variable Servicing - how is it shown?
^^^ What should be done. But when a customer wants the Service Interval Cleared Dealerships often say no. It is kind of wrong to get the service history wrong, but no big deal. The thing is Dealership service dozens or hundreds of cars a month so why are they so incompetent? Because they are at it. They cocked up changing the servicing regime is often the issue, or what they admit. They actually are chancers. Variable is 24 month / 18,000 - 20,000 miles. The 'Inspection Service' should not be left on at 12 month periods. (Another member posted today they paid £60 for an inspection service.) If at the PDI or at a Service Variable is changed to Fixed then that is at 372 days or 9,400 miles.(9,600 sometimes.) 372 days being a year and a week for holidays or time from PDI to collection. More confusion from what was a Minor / Interim Service & a Major each year is the Services are Now call Oil & Inspection Services with 'Extended Scope' each 3 years. If a Dealership left 'Inspection service' showing annually on a car on Variable Servicing then have them remove that, or pay to have a Service Done at their expense at their Dealership or at another. They took the pith or tried to when doing the PDI or the Service. For taking the Pith it is down to them to clear the message on the screen.- Brake calipers
? Was that a drug dealer? The clicking is a known issue. Cars with clicky brake pads have it and when they are not clicking the issue is not know- POWERPASS - Skoda's version of IONITY
For me that fallback network is Instavolt which i have used 3 times, then it will have to be BP Pulse which up til now i have only used my Free Charging i got to charge my E-bike battery on the 3 pin plugs at chargers at Asda. Shell Chargers i have tried just to be familiar with have never worked.- Brake calipers
Loosen backword & tighten forward. Refers to fitting bicycle pedals no mater which side of the bike you are facing.- POWERPASS - Skoda's version of IONITY
The drivers i speak too are not caring about the cost as their company is paying and they just want to get a move on as the A9 is a PITA and so is out of order CPS Chargers.- POWERPASS - Skoda's version of IONITY
@HeikeRegardless or TESLA charging network being regarded the best that does not mean that Tesla Drivers use the chargers when there are Free or Low Cost CPS chargers to use. Tesla charging is not cheap for those that need to pay for it. There are obviously some that do pay to use them but many in Scotland got Free Charging with the cars they bought and are at the Superchargers. Mostly Jaguars i see at Ionity Perth, & Taycans. It is beside the BMW Dealership & Starbucks. The other Ionity is @ Gretna Green. There are areas like around Aviemore that those driving a Tesla are lucky to have Superchargers because the other Public Charging is pathetic. ....................................................................................................................................................... This is Perth Park & Ride and the CPS chargers and the Tesla Superchargers. I used to charge there once or twice a week when passing Perth, maybe 30-40 mins if i got on a charger, longer if i was waiting for a charger to come free. Tesla drivers would charge there or be waiting their turn to get on a charger. So many hours spent on the CPS chargers or parked, various times of day or night and only once did i see one Tesla go on the Superchargers.- POWERPASS - Skoda's version of IONITY
I see plenty charging at the Ionity charger in Perth. They have their Audi card or whichever and just want charged up quickly. They are not wanting to mess about 2 mile up the road at Broxden Park and Ride on free charging with chargers that might or might not start and give you well under 50kW. There they can sit with 1 or more out of order for weeks or months broken. 12 Tesla chargers there as well seldom used. There is Rapid BP Pulse Charging not far from the Ionity Charger but i have not been desperate enough for a charge to go there.- POWERPASS - Skoda's version of IONITY
Where do you get to read that you do not have to pay the £9.99 a month to get the Ionity for the 25 pence kWH?- KPH/MPH
@Gax Likely no extra 'Registered Keeper' after you, the car is 'In Trade' currently. - Delivery times?
