Every point as the repairs require proper work doing. There is a premium buying an Approved Used Skoda because of the supposed rigorous checks and Workshop safety checks. The Dealerships Check list is surely not filled in. Chancers. Thompson and Potter, Part of the John Clark Group. As in also Dundee & Aberdeen Skoda Specialist cars.

@Luei Is that a Skoda Approved Used car with a warranty or some trade in they got and punted without proper pre-sale preparation ? Whichever, that is really not on. Have you spoken with the Dealer Principal yet? The Paint Warranty does not apply, but the Corrosion Warranty is and any damage has to be repaired to the factory spec. The pre sale check should be showing how the damage invalidates the Warranty and requires correct repairs.

@brettikivi Tesco at least had testing done comparing their 95 and 99 and a competitor. Emissions or efficient running being what it might show, but then everyone that drives their petrol car now and after September in the UK can do the test of their use or fuel and price paid per tank and miles driven. 6ca06d648b9541e78fa838fece4a1a23 (1) (7).pdf 388380a097b04fe693a8c27db8bb4974 (1).pdf

That 1% is the difference with 95 E10 & 98 E 5, So not the difference with 95 E5 to 95 E10. People could check what the difference of 95 E5 is from using 97 or 99 E5 as is available now in the UK. I see that UK press were saying those that can not use 95 E10 could use Super Unleaded and that could be a 14 pence a litre more or £7 a tank. Actually Sainsbury or Tesco Super Unleaded can be 5 pence a litre more than their 95 Unleaded so maybe £2.25 pence a tank extra with a 45 litre fill up & no more expensive than Unleaded not bought at some non supermarket filling stations. Shell, Gulf, BP Super Unleaded might be 14 pence a litre more than their 95 ron or supermarkets.

Oil Changed Warning
So if a Demonstrator or even if not then at the PDI it looks like it was set on a Fixed Service of 372 days / 9,400 miles which ever comes first. EDIT, I see now at the left a 2019 car. So left on Variable from the factory probably and first Service @ 24 Months. If the original oil is in from then and maybe months before if stored anyplace then an Oil & Filter change does really need doing.

Welcome to the forum. Best try being driven in other cars and see if now it is only the Octavia that causes this. Maybe a friends car or a taxi / mini cab.- Extended Warranty cost ? Superb 280
You are not locked into Skoda Main Dealership or Approved Repairers Servicing. Just to Manufacturers Recommended Servicing / Guidelines (Not Schedules). VAT Registered, Original parts / fluids. Read the T&C's and see exclusions, Max claims, and the bit on known issues. Plenty threads on Briskoda on Extended Warranties and Skoda / VW Group and others Warranties. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/481621-extended-warranty- Wheels
Skoda UK are the people that everyone that feels that way need to be telling this. Address your communications to the Brand Director / CEO of Skoda UK and VW UK as years of people complaining at dealership and on Social Media.- 54000 Miles | 5 Years → Cambelt Change
@VahidsRe the type of oil used. For a 5 year old TSI or TDI on Fixed or Variable servicing it is VW 504 00 / 507 00, (5w30 FS III) so nothing special or particularly expensive when 5 litres is purchased. (Newer Spec oil for TSI or TDI getting VW 508 00 / 509 00 can be more expensive, (0w 20 FS IV) but not all dealers use that and some are using 0w 30 FS III.- When is the new kodiaq out?
If there are Kodiaq's with the Police in the UK with this 280ps TSI's they might well be coming on the market eventually having been disposed of at auction someplace 4 years on, unless they have to go back to Skoda UK. (The one in the picture at the top of the article wearing the Fire Rescue livery is a TDI)- Extended Warranty cost ? Superb 280
https://insurewithskoda.co.uk/extended-warranty- So I went and bought a Jaaaag
They will not only have them be able to make noises but make the car feel like it shakes as you sit revving it.- 2021 / 2022 Plug in Hybrids. Company Car Tax might make them cheap this year. But!
Those choosing a car to buy in 2030 might well be buying a used petrol or diesel that are the last of the ones being built and able to be purchased. ? I take it the ones that said hydrogen or some other fuel source or 'do not know' made up the 7.8%- So I went and bought a Jaaaag
@Lady Elanorewhich EV's have you driven so far? Worth trying a Polestar 2 if you have not done. As far as electric motors and attachment, that had me LOL. but then that was just my mind on another subject.- Turbo failure

Not really that impressive as you can 'coast longer' with the heavier car & likely there was less than a quarter of the available bhp used to hypermile . The Citigo never got to have a TSI engine like the Up! did. If anyone gets near 800 miles out of their 1.0TSI Fabia with 45 litres plus fuel space then that is good going.- E10 fuels
@Westbury63really they were for @shyVRS245who likes to get many miles out of not many litres of petrol or diesel. He might accept the Citigo challenge sometime and see how they can sip fuel.- So I went and bought a Jaaaag
@Lady Elanore not all EV,s make the whine or noise that some have been landed with. Even under hard acceleration. There are times I need to shoo away people standing Infront of my car in car parks because I have started it and want to move and am not keen to roottoot at them. As far as the traffic light grand Prix it is good sitting there making no noise and just put traction control off then accelerate away letting the big bore exhaust car in the next lane as you leave then catching the pedestrians attention and catching you up at the next lights. My car has no pedestrian warning noise up to 15 mph as supposedly required by law.- When is the new kodiaq out?
Any information on Volvo and future vehicles is as likely or more likely to come from China as from Sweden.- E10 fuels
One for the hypermilers here. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/453741-700-mile-tank-range-citigo http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/414309-600mile-tank-range-possible-in-citigo http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/364603-500mile-tank-range-possible-in-citigo- Turbo failure
If really needed i will link to many many Turbo Replacement and Actuator failed threads here with 1.2 TSI's since 2010. Obviously people come with issues, but then there are those that never come to forums and go to Dealerships with the faults / issues. So a few dozen on Briskoda might be a few hundred or thousands in the UK across SEAT, VW, Skoda & Audi. That will be thousands across Europe or more across the Globe. So maybe small percentages of failings with the 1.2 TSI's and Turbos, then add in the Timing Chain Tensioner Issues 2010-2012 and maybe later and we see. 'Nothing to see here move on'. VW Fan boys are blinded by the light sometimes, or maybe they are 3 monkeys. See, Say and Hear no Evil. @Charliebrown47 Try keywords on any search engine. briskoda 1.2 tsi turbo failure - Ford Mustang Mach - E EV European Debut
