While charging my car and reading scare stories about E10 from the UK press that like scare stories i am on the phone. That is while reading that it will increase the cost to all car drivers from lazy journalists.

Left hand sides of posts may not show on the phone when reading Briskoda, and then assumptions are the mother of all **** ***.- 1.5 TSI for Mk4 possibility?
The word according to Autocar part of the Haymarket Media Group who are often launching vehicles on behalf of the VW Group so they should really know their onions or 1.0 & 1.5 TSI's. http://autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/first-drive-2021-skoda-fabia-prototype-review- Skoda Fabia MKIV 2021
http://autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/first-drive-2021-skoda-fabia-prototype-review- How to find out about recalls?
http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/490695-recalls Recalls require the Registered Keeper made aware of a Recall. the DVLA give the manufacturers the contact details. https://www.gov.uk/check-vehicle-recall Skoda Recall Actions can be Skoda Secret Service Campaign Actions and they are rather shy about having everyone know about them. Even the Customer Services at Skoda or the Service Desk Staff at a Dealership are like Mushrooms. (Kept in the dark and shovelled poo.) Even the VIN checker might not show all Recall Actions or Service Campaigns. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions- E10 fuels
Areas with Super Unleaded with Ethanol are probably getting that because it is Greenergy or Royal Dutch Shell supplying it. The Winter Spec fuel bought since Mid October might have less or no Ethanol so that it is less hygroscopic. Late March and it will be spring / summer spec fuel being delivered again to filling stations. @Westbury63 There are threads on the South American VW Up! (Skoda Citigo ) with different fronts, more power & larger fuel tanks. They had the TSI first.- E10 fuels
People need to check how much ethanol in the fuel. I love it and the more the better. I wish i could run a car on the road on Pure Alcohol.- E10 fuels

if E10 has a different RON / MON than other 95 Ron in the EU /Europe then the WLTP figures should be getting carried out with E5 and then E10. No point giving figures if E10 actually reduces the efficiency or increases fuel consumption. Then if emissions are reduced on E10 that should be shown in the vehicles VED in the UK. PS the UK,s biggest BIO producer has been asking the government for support for the past few years. The delay in introducing E10 meant they were having loss of investment and near to collapse. The UK can produce a lot of BIO from crop waste and does in Scotland as well as producing Gas. There are plants doing this less than 20 miles from where I am. Tattie Shaw's and much more like sugar beet waste, mash from distilleries and brewery's Check near Coupar Angus . http://fleetnews.co.uk/smart-transport/news/government-to-fund-building-of-bio-fuel-production-plants- Recalls..?
recalls are on a government website which is easy to find. Some Recall Actions are on the Skoda VIN checker. http://skoda-auto.com/services/recall-actions for TPI,s then you need to check with a dealership.- E10 fuels
I see the Telegraph got a recent headline on every car driver having to pay more because of the greener fuel. So that will be the E10 increasing the Diesel & EV drivers costs. 97 & 99 Super unleaded will remain unaffected, and Sainsbury, or Tesco 97 or 99 ron can cost less anyway than Shell, Esso, BP, Gulf, Texaco 95 ron anyway. http://autocar.co.uk/car-news/industry-news/government-plans-e10-petrol-roll-out-september-2021- E10 fuels

@FrankNicklin? Which Publications, would they be the Daily Mail or Express or Autocar / Auto Express? @PetrolDave It would be handy if you said what car and what year of car that was.- E10 fuels
EDIT, I never spotted in the OP yesterday the bit about the Super E10. There is no legislation requiring Super Unleaded to have 10% bio, and not all E5 Super unleaded has 5% bio in it. Try using E10 if you are very familiar with what MPG you get with 95,97 or 99 ron and see if you are buying less energy for the same price. 'Economy May' drop, but then actually May not. Even 'Does not'. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/472443-e10-petrol http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/455229-e10-fuel http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/284510-using-95ron-e10-any-issues http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/478785-e5-to-e10-petrol-are-skoda-vw-engines-ok-with-e10 http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/269546-e10-fuel- Hyundai Ioniq 5
He tells us he will tell us everything there is to know about the Ioniq 5 in this video.... ? What possesses him or anyone else to call this car a 'Family SUV' ? Surely the very least a car should have to be a SUV or Crossover is roof rails! That somehow allows for the Sport Utility or Suburban Utility tag. Being able to use an electric shaver, kettle, drill etc mght be what they base SUV on. Rory needs to go check how many 350kW chargers there actually are since he is a motoring journalist.- Returning Lease Car - missing books & Service question!
Very surprising that the car actually came with a Service book. BCA can not pick up many Skoda cars newer than 2012 that have them.- Sportline 1.5 TSI engine tune/remap.
@stever750 That is indeed the question everyone needs to ask themself. It always surprises me someone saying they are waiting until a warranty expires before doing something, or those as someone said today about a new car and fitting a tuning box because they can remove it if there is an engine fault. They can and then try what basically is an insurance fraud as warranties are insurance.- When is the new kodiaq out?
? Do the websites not all go through a central office and for each country & in the different language with the often errors and mistakes?- When is the new kodiaq out?
@Scot5 definitely not. They just wondered if Skoda CZ knows what Skoda Sweden has said.- When is the new kodiaq out?
It reads rather clearly what they are saying and nobody is getting a Face Lift until Face Lift production has started.- Sportline 1.5 TSI engine tune/remap.

You are going into a SEAT dealership to get your CUPRA or click and collect. There will always be a deal to be done if buying one, or just leasing them and then chucking it back at the end of lease. If people do not order enough new then SEAT / VW will buy them and sell them as used.- XDS, or EDL, or XDL+ electronic differential lock - is it supplied at all in the UK?
@nickcoll Nail on the head. So you want a 'Keeper' and buying it, so Road Testers / Reviewers / Journalists testing and articles need taking with a pinch of salt. Look at Tiff Needell or Chis Harris and others and what they have as family cars / long term vehicles bought with their cash money. Driven by them or partners, family etc. The Journalist did a big up on Toyota GT86 /Subaru BRZ's. best thing since sliced bread, Primacy Tyres and hang out the back end with only 200ps. How many motoring journalist bought one of them? Same with the new Yaris GR, amazing, thrash it, buy as a keeper. or until you punt it. Thrash the demonstrators and use your own car in a way you keep your driving license. Old people can corner old people city cars at 60 mph even on wet roads. Is there oversteer. lift-off oversteer, understeer, trail braking etc going on , or just actually driving cars on the road and getting where they are safely on their own side of the white line! - E10 fuels
