  1. As well as using all the correct settings to help the car from misting be sure to get it aired out when you can, leave no damp clothes, carpets etc in the car. and have the interior glass well cleaned. Pollen Filter replaced each 2 years or sooner. As the weather gets colder then Dehumidifiers in the car and boot and maybe treat the glass with a product.
  2. A member on a look out for suitable Steel Wheels. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/486379-17inch-steel-wheels-5x112
  3. @IanJD You bet i do, and other peoples tyres as well. & weigh the wheels and tyres that are being swapped if changing them or suspension, alignment etc.
  4. @IanJD If you were are as good at inspecting your tyres as you are checking weights the roads will be a safer place. Have fun with your driving & giving wheel and tyre advice..
  5. @IanJD I have done over the years on various vehicles and sometimes the difference is between Oooo & Ahaaa, which is not very much. ? What was the difference with the cars wheels you were comparing. I tend to stick a pair of full size Spares in the car in winter time with matching Tyres so that journeys can continue, and a trolley jack, so weight is not that important, and with something canal boat like size that is even less important.

@JoeSchmofo I had a good 12" LED Light Bar on a not flimsy Front Number plate mount which was only £15 with free delivery from E-bay on my last Jimny. (which had a Bull Bar Fitted.) EDIT. Sorry no pick with Light Bar. Here just the Spots were on the Bar.
  7. @IanJD If one bothers to weigh the OEM wheel and tyre on their car and a 'Full Size Spare' Steel wheel with a Tyre to match the size of the ones on the car they might find the weight difference is between Oooo & Ahaaaaa.

? Would a LED Light Bar or 2 not do the job better of lighting the way in addition to the full beams being on, but maybe just not have the look? http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/328857-auxillary-light-bracket

The Side Steps or the decorative side slider / nerf bars do not make sense for green laning or softroading as they just add weight and are something to catch, as are the type of Bull Bars that hang down and might well catch when reversing. A robust sump guard / slider can be additional weight worth adding, but then that is function over just style / looks.
  10. It is still 'Simply Clever' to remove a Pollen / Cabin Filter of a vehicle not getting used much and vacuum it and wash around the area and dry and refit the Filter'. & with Kerry & Norma Filters, still look in the Air Box to see if it appears nice and clean. They get dirty just as easily if not more than a 'Disposable filter' but might not be as obvious that they are until an increase in fuel consumption is noticed.

Welcome. The 'Bull Bars' simply are not common because the kind commonly sold were not Legal in the UK / EU, so the issue is with the Law & also your insurers, you need to declare the Non Factory Option parts & non Dealer Option fitted in the UK. http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/419137-hella-led-light-bar-350-installed-behind-yeti-bumper https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/bull-bars/bull-bars https://www.roughtrax4x4.com/blog/why-is-it-illegal-to-sell-bull-bars
  12. Vauxhall & Vauxhall Dealers must be getting desperate to shift e-Corsa's they have in stock registered or not registered. There are 118 advertised on Autotrader and some of the Elite Nav's with delivery / PDI miles are at £25,000, the SE Navs less than that.
  13. 2 years for Pollen / Cabin Filter and 4 years for TDI Fuel Filters. (recently that changed to 6 years where it used to be at 2nd Major Services) This suits the Extended Scope each 3 years. So just as it has been for 'long time mister', maybe done, maybe not. Participating Dealers used to charge for Minor or Major Services and not change them saying Not Scheduled.. Took the money, never supplied parts or labour, but charged the same done or not. Now they charge for what you get, and at ridiculous prices.
  14. Cars being built now are MY21.
  15. @drewt Very light but precise is good in good weather and roads. It will be interesting to know how the Citigo iV's are on winter roads on the OEM tyres. Maybe some of the members with them in Scandinavian countries can comment if they still have the tyres on that came from the factory and have had cold weather or snow already.

  17. The 'Approved Used Skoda Warranty' T&C's are here. Next to the New Car T&C's. http://skoda.co.uk/owners/warranty Others Used Warranties can be different, very different. like some RAC ones with 'Used Cars' that might have a £750 limit. Each needs checking. 32529_skoda_approved_used_warranty_doc_v3.72110e7831bce3d9427fded26bdd2652.pdf
  18. Best look at the T&C's with the cover on Skoda's, limits etc. http://insurewithskoda.co.uk/extended-warranty
  19. Or just a small used caravan for the same money. A place to shelter / sleep with a cooker, sink, fridge and toilet.
  20. That is a decrease in fuel consumption with a 1.5 TSI not an increase.

@ayrshiredude I wonder as well but will not lose sleep over it as they are not in Europe and i will not be driving there. I know that i can drive the coast road to Culzean castle and to Girvan and the lane assist on my car keeps me right as i do lapse sometime watching the view and it is not intrusive. I can still dodge the potholes.
  22. There were due replacement if never done. ? Have the brakes ever had any servicing, or the brake fluid changed?
