Was just wondering does anyone know why some engine covers have a coloured badge when others just have a black one? is there any reason for this or were skoda just trying to save on ink? :D :confused:

Mine does not even have a badge on it.... just 3 mounting holes :-(

The older ones are colour, newer black. I guess it's a cost saving thing.

Yes i got an 06 Mk1 and thats just black also.
