Half a tank for £42??!! I cant fit anymore than £56 in my VRS. How much was the fuel P/L?

£1.22

Did push that silly valve down though.

Doesn't pay to fill the car up, it costs fuel to cart the extra about

I spoke to a chap yesterday whilst filling up ,who could only afford to put enough fuel in his truck to last until he got paid for the delivery he was about to do.What a sad state of affaires when youre trying to earn a crust and youre beeing battered down all the time .:mad:Lets all bugger off somewhere hot and enjoy life ,cos youre only here once, and i for one will (if things don change) be out of this goddam country .Last one out, please turn off the lights:P

Id say you filled it alot more than half.

Ahem

The back seats are to be used for the passengers you do know

:thumbup:I couldn't agree more.Given the finances to do it, I'd get out of this chav-ridden, over-taxed, assylum seeker filled, drug abusing excuse for a country NOW:).

A nice little cottage in the Pyrenees near Andorra would suffice, so I can fill my car up all for much less than half of the cost this hellhole charges. If I drank or smoked I'd be saving £100+ per month alone just on those 2 vices alone!! Then factor in cheaper food etc.

Plus the food, people and weather would all be better.Jeez, I'm gonna start saving - if I can afford to:rolleyes:

They were last week not sure now though.

Dont forget the council tax has more than doubled under labour!!!! They give hard working public sector a derisory 2% pay rise then they ask for 25%, Gordon Browne & your Labour cronies are a thing of the past!!!!!!!!

God I hope they are!!!!

Theywill be ...........I hope!!!!!

They never listen or learn & are just out for themselves.

i'll never vote labour again thats for sure!

I never did!!!

It will make little difference who you vote for. It's not going to influence the global markets which are the main reason for the weekly price hikes on the fourcourt

True, but turning a budget surplus into a budget deficit so the chancellor can't cut taxes to stimulate the economy is their fault.

What a great thread...and i agree thi country is hissing me off everything has gone up even my local kebab shop have put up their prices to cover the cost of fuel!!!

then in the news today (23/05/08) you get the news that our prime minister has been using public money to pay for his sky tv account.

I hate to see what we will be paying for a litre of fuel by xmas.

I have heard that by next April it will be as much as £2.30 a litre. What a load of ********

You might want to check the prices of fuel across Europe and reconsider that comment

Iv just put £57 in my vrs before :(

but then it costs you another use of the starter motor when you stop for fuel :)

how long are we going to stand for this it has continued to go up more than when the strikes were on also why does the fuel always go up when there is a bank holiday i.e when families are travelling around more disgusting

exactly.....but in the end your best filling it right up to the brim because when you come back it's only gone up another 3p :(
