It's finaly getting done !

Currently in pieces but at the moment but here is how it was when i went to see it before.....everything is going to plan at the moment apart from needing spacers for the wheels because of the brembo's but the turbo has came off no problem and the clutch etc.......

Just the K+W coilovers the hybrid turbo, miltek exhaust, fmic and brakes to put on.

The guy didn't start them till today but iv been along and helped him drop the clutch out before, he is a local guy i was recomended to have it done by and im really impressed with the time/quality he is taking over it.....nothing is getting rushed and everything getting cleaned/checked aswell

should have it back tomoro lunch time though

And im about to do the same as you. lol.

The star fabia is not very clean ALOT mine is a much cleaner example and it hasn't been horsed on round the track either, it would have been alot less money to just swap cars but i am really particular

lofty 86 :- i priced all this up new and it was around 5k mark...... lets just say erm.....mates rates

the crash bar has been swaped over as his has been cut to acomodate the intercooler, just about to go and buy some spacers shortly, they will do for a wee while untill i get some diferent wheels that dont need them

Woohoo everythings on and sorted/put back together....not picking it up untill tomoro but i took it for a wee test drive and by hell it's alot nicer to drive and looks lorverly lowerd

slightly more lag but i never tryed to feel it's full power......bring on the remap tomoro well "ecu cloning should i say"

my Oz superturismo's will NOT fit behind the brembo's atal even with 2 6mm spacers together = 12mm :eek: so i need new wheels :(

It's already a vRS.

He's just putting the upgraded parts from an already modded car, onto his standard vRS.

Ive been umm'ing and Arr-ing for a while about going ahead with an overhaul.

After one of the members on here near me has just got himself a Clio 197 Cup spec in white with dark Alloys its really given me the urgency to want to either change car, or mod the fabia.

Looking at cost implications probably modding it a better choice as i do alot of miles for work.

Getting paid 40p/mile with the rising cost of fuel as it is, running a performance petrol would kill me..

Whats your insurance situation looking like if you dont mind me asking, im 21 and am scared about the quote for a turbo conversion.

Just been speaking to a lad last night who had a forge one on and i have the seat one. He was surprized of how much bigger it is.

There is NO room to even put a finger around it next to the bumper though

im not cutting my bumper though......looks fantastic as it is and its much more of a sleeper just the brembo's give it away
