Anti-Syphon Device

Featured Replies

Anyone know if felicias are fitted with anti syphon devices? Got a knackered 1.6 p reg and want to take the fuel out of it as its got a fair amount.

Cheers.

More than likely.

Why not do what seems to be in vogue now to steel fuel, and that drill a hole in the bottom of the tank and collect the fuel in a suitable container.

Or if the pump still works, cut the fuel line (fuel will spurt out as the system de pressurises) then and set the pump in motion. The appropriate wire should be identifiable by where it connects to the fuse thing behind the ECU.

if you unplug the main dash loom from the engine loom behind the battery, the larger of the 2 connectors has a blue wire... if you short this wire to earth the fuel pump will run...

disconnect the fuel supply hose off the fuel rail (supply hose has white end, return hose has blue end)

Cheers guys, will have a look. Though will steer clear if I think I'll blow myself up!

Well, my Felicia got Syphoned not so long ago. I don't know HOW they did it, but my fuel filler cap isn't functioning properly, im not sure if they bust it, or it was like that previously, it does go into the mouth of the fill hole, but it doens't lock when you turn the lock, it just... doesn't do anything.

The locking caps do break. Go to halfords and buy the generic screw thread locking cap. Works perfectly however, will have a seperate key to operate it.

:)

yeah my fuel cap is broken too.

I didn't know halfrauds did a locking fuel cap.

I dont give them my buisness anymore, so i wouldn't have seen them.

I imagine you'll just need to ask for a fuel cap to fit a Skoda Felicia.

Whenever I've seen locking fuel caps in Halfords recently they've always been in the bargain bin, so it could be that you have to specially order them at the parts desk.

Thanks, I have the same problem!!!

I'll check Halfords this WE! ^^

Just bought an off the shelf one, cant remember what it was called. Pretty sure most are the same now.

If not, ebay or other websites.

My stepdad went down to halfords on Friday i think and asked for one at the desk. £15 for a lockable one but its money well spent. He couldn't find it on the shelf so went to the desk and told them my car make and year and they fetched him one. Works a treat too.
