my car seems to be coming along nicely, got my porsche wheels, in the middle of painting them and need to get adaptors before they are fitted.

also fitted my strut brace and PD160 trumpet and intake

got the wheels from ebay:

the fronts are pretty clean but backs are kerbed..

Front ones are almost done:

just need to do the lip red to finish them off

and brace and intake:

strut brace was a pain to fit, had to remove the black box thing, think its to do with the air con to get to the bolts properly. must admit i was really surprised by the difference its made to the car, feels a lot tighter and less rolly round bends.

got the brace from jalesbrakes on this site along with the intake for £60, not sure what they cost new though.

cant wait to get the wheels fitted but other commitments mean it will probably be a month before i have spare money for the adaptors, then it will need coils

and davy, i use imageshack for hosting.

Looking forward to seeing these fitted! :)

Excellent Keith.

Going to look very nice indeed once it's completed. :)

I fancy some of these D90's now in a nice anthracite... how much do they go for?

you have made a great job on the rims mate, well done they look cracking!

saw the real thing tonight - those wheels are gonna be schweeeeeet on your car.

They look well in black with the red lip

You making me jealous Keith, will really suit your car.

Davy

Looking nice hurry up and get some rubber on those wheels and get them on the car and get those pics up am sure they are going to look sweet

Wheels do look sweet, a lot more patience than me. I used red trim tape to get the same effect.

The black box is the valve block that contains the two solenoids that operate your turbo VNT mech and the EGR system.

Wheels look good buddy. Nice meeting you last night!

Keith they're looking superb.

Was in two minds when you mentioned the red lip, but now it's done, it looks ace. :)

Adaptors arrived today:

20mm front

the rear ones gave me some concern about the size

dsc00569zi5.jpg

it does stick out a bit further than i would have liked and i may have issues with lowering, and lets face it, the car needs decked now! but i'll worry about that another day...
