hello all my name is marc fro bristol i own a mk1 octavia vrs and its my pride and joy its a silver 2001 and has done 100k but purrs, my o/s front suspention has recently started to creek! with the radio off you can hear it inside the vehicle to.. does anybody know if this is a common problem or is it just time for new shocks?

if so time to lower it then.. can anybody recommend a brand or kit for the octavia i was looking at eibach springs and standard shocks? i still want to maintain comfort but vehicle must handle for track days ..?

any sugestions?

Check the front ARB bushes first, they are a common problem.

KW3 coilovers are the best for a suspension upgrade, and Eibach do not make a specific spring for the Octy vRS.

If you use the search button its all in there for you to find and read.

It will be the front ARB's , Is it worse over speed bumps etc...

Had mine changed at the weekend and its mint now.

Sure it's the suspension? It could be the radiator mount brackets instead.
